The Zu is an enemy from Final Fantasy IV. One is fought in a cinematic battle at the beginning of the game. Afterwards, they are fought near Mysidia.

Usually, a Zu can be found alongside two Cockatrices, which should be taken down first. Porom's Cry ability can help these battles move along easier at first, especially when the party is returning from Mount Ordeals. If Cecil is still a Dark Knight, the Deathbringer blade that he obtained from Fabul can kill Zus.
