Stats[edit | edit source]
Battle[edit | edit source]
It is the only enemy in the Cave to the Sealed Gate which does not absorb Fire and is actually weak to it. Thus, Fira spells are effective to quickly kill it. Every four turns they have a chance to use Bone, inflicting Zombie on a party member, but the player should have little difficulty defeating them before their AI script gets to that point.

Etymology[edit | edit source]
zombie is an animated corpse resurrected by mystical means, such as necromancy. Since the late 19th century, zombies have acquired popularity in North American and European folklore.
Adragon is a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, which features in the myths of many cultures.
AOne of the names for the enemy, Zombone, was also the name of the second form of the Czar Dragon from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, which was also a zombified dragon. Coincidentally, the Czar Dragon's Japanese name was also used for a dummied enemy for Final Fantasy VI. Unlike the Zombone in Super Mario RPG, however, the Zombie Dragon has no apparent connection with the Kaiser Dragon.
