Zombie (ゾンビー, Zonbī?), also known as Corruption, is a recurring spell in the Final Fantasy series. It inflicts the Zombie status effect.

Zombie is a spell that causes the Zombie status effect, meaning the target will be injured by curative abilities.
Zombie is often drawn from undead enemies. The player can also get one Zombie spell from Zell's "love quest" if they give Hot dogs & Pink as the answers to a "survey" held by girls at the library, and later return for the results. However, different answers yield superior spells.
The spell performs best when junctioned on the Vit stat. It adds the Zombie status effect to the weapon when junctioned on ST-Atk-J and defends against the status when junctioned on ST-Def-J.
Casting Zombie in battle increases compatibility with Doomtrain by 1, but lowers compatibility with Carbuncle by 0.2.

Zombie is an ability learned by Beowulf at level 76 (6★). It costs 52 MP and reduces Light resistance by 100% for 2 turns, reduces Light resistance by 75% for 4 turns, and reduces Light resistance by 50% for 5 turns to one enemy.
