The Zombie is a species of enemy and a specific enemy in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. They are undead creatures, and so they revert to tombstones when their HP reaches 0. Zombies are the least mobile of all the undead classes, but they do have some long-ranged attacks to make up for it.

The blademaster Frimelda Lotice is drugged into a zombie-like state, though she retains some of her mental clarity and does not come to learn any Dark magicks.

Etymology Edit

A zombie is an animated corpse resurrected by mystical means, such as witchcraft. Since the late 19th century, zombies have acquired popularity in North American and European folklore.

A ghoul is a folkloric monster associated with graveyards and consuming human flesh, often classified as undead.
