The Zeus's Wrath (ゼウスの怒り, Zeusu no Ikari?), also known as Rage of Zeus or Bolt Plume, is a recurring, single-use item that is frequently used to deal Lightning damage to one or more targets, equivalent to the Thundara spell. Its upgrade in some games is the Heavenly Wrath.

Zeus's Wrath can be bought for 300 gil in Urbeth, and can found in Urbeth and the Tower to the Sky. Due to the elemental system used within the game, the item inflicts Light-elemental damage instead of the traditional Lightning-elemental damage.
Zeus's Wrath refers to Zeus, who struck mortals who angered him with a bolt of lightning. Zeus is the "Father of Gods and men" who rules the Olympians of Mount Olympus as a father rules the family according to the ancient Greek religion. He is the god of sky and thunder in Greek mythology.
