A quiet, yet determined summoner who guides the spirits of the dead to the Farplane. On her pilgrimage to defeat Sin, she encounters Tidus, a young man from another world whom she welcomes as her new guardian. Though at times it seems as though they are on a hopeless journey of doubt and loss, they at least have each other.
—Description

Yuna is a playable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia who can be recruited during Chapter 3 of the main storyline.

ProfileEdit

AppearanceEdit

Yuna wears a blue, pleated furisode kimono with hibiscus floral pattern, black boots, and a black spaghetti-string camisole under a white sash of material that wraps around her neck and over her chest. She wears a yellow patterned obi adorned with hibiscus flowers with a chōchō musubi knot and a decorative obidome to cinch the cords and two sleeves on her upper arms.

Her alternate costume is her Gunner dressphere from Final Fantasy X-2. She wears a white and pink spaghetti-string camisole with the Zanarkand Abes logo on her chest with a pink hood and yellow armbands. She wears a pair of denim hot pants with a blue half-skirt covering her left hip that reaches to her ankles held up by a brown belt with a pouch. She has a shorter, layered haircut, reminiscent of Tidus's, save for a long ponytail that reaches to her ankles wrapped in a pink sleeve. She wears knee-high black boots. Despite being dressed as a Gunner, she is still a summoner in gameplay.

StoryEdit

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Yuna is first encountered in the Lost Kingdom of Thronus. The party meets her as she is apparently being menaced by Seifer, Raijin, and Fujin. They chase him away, much to her relief.

She explains that she is a summoner from Spira, though she declines to explain her title fully and instead describes herself as someone who is trained to kill monsters and protect the people. Her remarks imply that she told Seifer a fuller version of a summoner's role; rather than trying to abduct her, he was trying to insist on protecting her as a knight. Mog offers her a place in the party. After being reassured that she would be welcome, Yuna gladly accepts in the hopes of finding either her friends or a way home.

As they travel through the area, they fight Seifer and his posse again. Yuna asks him to join them, believing that he's a good person in spite of his belligerence, but he refuses.

Spoilers end here.

GameplayEdit

Although Yuna appears as a summoner and makes many references to the role, in Opera Omnia she presents as a Magic Support unit. She is, at present, the only unit able to cast Esuna and therefore able to counter multiple debuffs in one turn. Cheer lets her grant extra BRV to any ally, allowing them to attack or defend with better success.
