Ep. 1: Smells Good[]
Etre is walking through the forest when she smells something foul. Two bombs rush to her and she has to mentally prepare herself, until more bombs show up, forcing her to flee. The bombs return greater numbers, Etre believing the smell is attracting them. She calls out to Yerma who is passing through the area, asking if she's wearing perfume. Yerma compliments Etre on her sense of smell. She calmly refers to the number of bombs and the two introduce each other. Etre wishes she was more confident and strong like Yerma, but Yerma retorts that it is possible to become too strong.
Yerma travels looking for a man stronger than herself to fall in love with, while Etre travels to become stronger to serve Leonis and join the Fortem division commanded by the handsome Prince Sterne to get close to him. Yerma would like to meet this strong and handsome man, but then apologizes for intruding on Etre's dream. The latter is unfazed and suggests traveling to Leonis together, as having a rival may motivate her to work harder and help her train. Yerma agrees and points out that they need to deal with the myriad of bombs behind them first.
Ep. 3: Duty I[]
After defeating the bombs, the duo arrives at Leonis Castle. Yerma is surprised by its size and asks where the handsome prince is. An angry Lilyth descends the steps asking who they are. Etre whispers that Lilyth doesn't seem friendly, and Yerma whispers that just because Lilyth is in a bad mood, she should not take it out on them. To the duo's shock Lilyth can hear them and Yerma apologizes. Lilyth smiles and introduces herself, asking them to forgive her as things are hectic at the moment. Fennes's soldiers approach their border so she is pressed with dealing with them. Yerma asks what a Fennes is, with Lilyth curious that she doesn't know. Fennes is the country neighboring Leonis to the northeast, Lilyth saying it's full of savages and is led by a monster named Muraga to encroach into Leonis territory time and time again. Lilyth asks the duo to state their purpose. Etre introduces herself and Yerma, the latter explaining they want to enlist in Fortem.
Lilyth is surprised while a panicked Etre whispers that Yerma was awfully blunt about it. Yerma scoffs that they will be able to meet Prince Sterne by doing this. Lilyth smiles at the notion, saying that for someone who likes to whisper, they sure don't mind being overheard. Yerma asks if Lilyth will accept them into Fortem. Lilyth regales that three days ago, a paladin tried to join Fortem, and she had enlisted her to clear out a nearby cave full of skeletons but she never returned. Lilyth gives Etre and Yerma the choice of vanquishing the skeletons, or running home with their tails between their legs. Yerma thinks that fighting the skeletons will be an easy victory. Etre remains uncertain, yet willing to go along.
Ep. 5: So-Called Strongest Paladin[]
Etre and Yerma find the dark cave with many crystals. A young woman approaches them , surprised to find another human in the cave. Yerma asks if she's a paladin, and the young woman confirms. Etre asks if she's whom Lilyth ordered to rout the skeletons, the young woman surprised the duo know about her. Yerma explains that when they asked to join Fortem, they were sent to the cave as well.
The young woman introduces herself as Nasha and Etre introduces herself and Yerma. Nasha is about to leave but Yerma asks her to hold for a minute. Etre suggests they work together, but Nasha proclaims to fight alone. She says she can't die until she marries Sterne and asks if this makes them rivals. Etre confirms and Nasha posits they should fight fair and square. Etre is not familiar with fighting, but asks if paladins cut through the vanguards to further an army's advancement, to which Yerma confirms. Nasha reveals she has a poor sense of direction and Yerma asks if she has been wandering near the entrance for the past three days. A bewildered Nasha asks what the big deal is as everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Etre takes the lead with her a strong sense of smell and catches the trail of monsters.
After using Etre's sense of smell to find the skeletons, the trio defeats their boss. An excited Etre says they should return to Leonis Castle.
Ep. 7: To the Border I[]
The trio makes its way back to Leonis Castle, tired and elated that they've passed the enlistment exam, but Yerma is concerned whether they'll actually be allowed to join Fortem. A shocked Nasha exclaims it's like working without pay, and deems Leonis to be an exploitative kingdom. Yerma thinks they'll need to achieve something greater to catch Lilyth off guard. Etre remembers Lilyth mention Fennes's soldiers at the border. Nasha deduces they need to give the Fennes troops a thorough beating, and Yerma surmises Sterne would then have to give them his attention, no matter how much Lilyth objected.
Nasha exclaims that one of the trio could become a bridal prospect for Sterne, but Yerma says Nasha is jumping to conclusions. They agree to head to the border.
Ep. 10: Prince Mont[]
En route to the border with Fennes, the trio finds a grass area with a waterfall surrounded by fallen Fennes troops and wonder if they're near the border. Mont Leonis approaches the trio to ask who they are. Etre notes he smells like a noble and Nasha wonders if Mont is the chief of Fennes. Nasha approaches Mont, saying that Etre and Yerma are enemies of Fennes, asking Mont to fight them alongside her. A shocked Etre asks if Nasha is double-crossing them. Mont introduces himself as the crown prince of Leonis. Nasha is shocked with Yerma wondering who Sterne is if Mont is the crown prince. Mont explains he and Sterne are twins. Yerma wonders how Leonis can be swarming with handsome men. Etre asks why Mont is out in such a remote area, with Mont explaining he's there to drive back the Fennes soldiers near the border, but notes a lot of Fennes soldiers have already been defeated, asking if the trio did it. Etre confirms with Mont deducing it must have been an order from Lilyth. Etre says they'll do whatever they can to join Fortem. Yerma says that if they get the credit for defeating the Fennes soldiers, they might be able to achieve their dream. Mont promises to talk to Sterne about what he can do, as if the three are this capable, hiring them would only prove beneficial for Leonis. Etre is elated, while Mont suggests they return to the castle together.
Upon their arrival Lilyth greets Mont and asks why he's with the trio. She laughs it off and wonders if Mont had to save them as they were running from the cave. Mont explains the situation to a shocked Lilyth. Nasha says the mean lady's era is over while Etre and Yerma are glad to be vindicated. Lilyth asks who they're calling mean. Sterne arrives and asks what all the clamoring is about. Nasha sighs another handsome one has arrived. Yerma notes that Sterne's aura is intense and deems him incredibly strong. Mont tells Sterne that the trio wants to join Fortem and that they routed the Fennes threat by the border. Lilyth says it was pure luck and Mont confirms it might be the case. However, Mont thinks they show promise. With Mont's judgment, Sterne allows the three to enlist. Lilyth is aghast while the trio is elated. Lilyth says that they will call it quits before long.
