A fiend created when the power of lightning fuses with pyreflies. It casts sizzling bolts at all who approach. Water is its only elemental weakness.
Scan description
The Yellow Elemental is an enemy from Final Fantasy X-2 found in the Floating Ruins and Cloisters 4 to 6 of the Via Infinito. It uses Yellow Element's model from Final Fantasy X.
It is a weak monster that is of no threat to the party. It is defeated with one hit from its opposing element: Water. Even when Oversouled, it is still easy. It absorbs electricity-based attacks.

Creature Creator[]
In the International and HD Remaster versions, the Yellow Elemental can be captured from Mt. Gagazet in a Trap Pod S during Chapters 1 and 2. It comes wielding Lightning Eater, Magic Up, and Thunder. Unless the player can negate the Water weakness that is inherited within Lightning-based fiends, e.g., either equipping it or developing it with the NulTide or Cerulean Ring, it is advisable to keep the electric fiend away from opponents with strong Water attacks.
It has low Strength, Evasion, and Luck, but its Defense and Magic Defense are absurdly high, a common trait for the Elemental family. It has mediocre Accuracy, but it is quite slow.
Fiend Tale[]
Trying to read this fiend's life story will fail because it has none. The fiend was born for one purpose alone: fighting. Even after leveling the Yellow Elemental up in story, it does not turn into an aeon.
