Yan wears her long black hair in a high ponytail. She wears a traditional teal beizi and wields a teal umbrella.
After evolving Yan for the first time, pink blossoms surround her being while her beizi and her umbrella's interior is adorned with violet linings.
After evolving Yan for the last time, more pink blossoms start surrounding her while her beizi is adorned with purple tinges by its edges. Her umbrella gains two violet butterflies on its interior.
Personality[]
Yan is a polite young woman with an eagerness to protect those she cares about. Strong-willed and kind, she fell in love with Ang and furiously pursued him. She shows a stubborn streak while trying to get her father Guan to accept her love for Ang. The depth of her sincerity allowed Chow to grant her wish of marrying Ang.
Story[]
4★ - No. 8134:The young daughter of a famous swordsman from a certain village. Yan is a kind young lady who despite the graceful way in which she carries herself, will not hesitate to propose to her lover that they elope together. Although originally a sickly girl during her youth, she began venturing outside on her own as soon as her physical state improved. Nowadays many people often see her walking around with her favorite parasol in hand.
5★ - No. 8135:The kind daughter of Guan, master swordsman of a certain village. Yan met her paramour Ang some time ago, and has come to love him with all her heart. For her it was love at first sight, and their romance took off after Ang accepted her bold advances towards him. Her father refuses to acknowledge their relationship because Ang is an archer, and although Yan tries to change his mind every night, Guan is rumored to always fall asleep during their conversations.
6★ - No. 8136:The strong-willed daughter of Guan, the hero who returned to his village with the legendary twin swords. When her lover Ang decided to undertake a perilous trial to prove his worth, she became extremely worried about him and prayed for his safe return. Her sincere words touched the heart of the divine beast Chow, and persuaded him to lend his power to Ang. The good fortune that Chow brought the young couple allowed for their marriage to become a reality, and thus Yan still prays to a statue of his likeness every day to show her gratitude.

One day, Master Guan, master of the sword, decided to hold a competition in which participants were to race to obtain the legendary twin blades that rested upon the dragon's peak.
To the victor, Master Guan promised not only the title of number one swordsman in all the vullage, but also the hand of his daughter, Yan, in marriage.
Upon hearing this, Ang, who was in love with Yan, vowed to be victorious so that Master Guan would acknowledge the pair's love for one another.
