The Yaksha is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It is found in Vile Peaks -010 AF- alongside Yakshinis, other Yakshas, Bombs, or Cryohedrons.

Stats[edit | edit source]

Paradigm Pack[edit | edit source]

The Yaksha is an Early Peaker, and is easy to max out. At its max level, it has fairly high Strength, but due to its passive ability Ironstrike its ATB bar recharges slowly. It is recommended to infuse ATB restoring abilities into it to compensate for its low ATB recharge.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Yaksha is the name of a broad class of nature-spirits, usually benevolent, who are caretakers of the natural treasures hidden in the earth and tree roots. They appear in Hindu, Jain and Buddhist mythology. A yakshini is the female counterpart of the male yaksha, and they both attend on Kubera (also called Kuber), the Hindu god of wealth who rules in the mythical Himalayan kingdom of Alaka. They resemble that of fairies.
