Story[]
Lost Chapter: Balamb Whiplash[]
Y’shtola encounters a disoriented Quistis in a field of flowing lava near the Capta Est Tower while accompanying Laguna on a sortie. When Quistis recognizes Laguna, the group prompts him for an introduction, but Laguna – who was taken into the World of Light from a time before their meeting in Esthar – does not remember meeting her. Nevertheless, the group deems Quistis as an ally as a behemoth arrives to challenge them in battle. Quistis then joins Y'shtola and the others in their travels.
While continuing to explore with Quistis, Steiner, and Galuf, Y’shtola’s group finally encounters Squall and Zell. The two warmly welcome their old friend. Quistis immediately notes with surprise Squall’s concern for her well-being, to which Galuf and Steiner reassure her that this is actually typical of his demeanour in this world. At this point, the group takes a break to explain the full situation to Quistis, and they she realizes that a few from their world are still missing from their group. Y’shtola delights in noticing that Quistis also knows Squall enough even to finish his sentences; the two find a rapport and talk of getting to know each other better later.
