Fully Restores HP
Description
X-Potion is a recovery item item in Final Fantasy VII that restores all HP to one target. It is the upgrade to Hi-Potion, and is superseded by Elixir. When used on an undead target, it damages them up to 9999 HP instead. X-Potion is not sold in normal shops, but is easily farmed from enemies in Wutai Area.

X-Potion should be used only in emergencies early on in the game, if a Cure2, Cure3, White Wind, or Hi-Potion are too weak to heal. If the player does not have Full Cure, Elixirs, or Megalixirs to full heal with, X-Potion is the best item to use.
X-Potions are plentiful from enemies in the Wutai Area during the time the party's Materia are taken away in "Homecoming of a Miserable Daughter"; this is a great time to make use of them to heal.
There is an X-Potion to be found in the Cave of the Gi; the player can use it on the boss of the place to deal great damage, though they may prefer to use a Phoenix Down instead.
