X-ATM092 is a Triple Triad card in Final Fantasy VIII used to play the minigame and for turning into items with Quezacotl's Card Mod. X-ATM092 is the fifty-eighth card in the inventory and the third Level 6 card. It depicts the boss X-ATM092 fought in Dollet during the field exam.

X-ATM092 has middling values, but is good against most NPC players who often don't use any boss cards. Its value placements may also be useful for games that use Same and/or Plus.

Obtain[]

There is a 6.3% chance to get X-ATM092 when successfully using the Card command on an SAM08G (rare) or a Red Bat.

Any AI Triple Triad player who uses Level 6 cards has a chance of using X-ATM092 in a play, from where the player can win it in a card match. Examples of players are prisoner in D-District Prison, CC Heart of the Card Club, Grease Monkey in Fishermans Horizon, Cid Kramer, and Laguna Loire. In the end of the game, all CC members besides CC Diamond will play with Level 6 cards when aboard the Ragnarok if the player completed the CC quest before the point of no return.

Card Mod[]

Two X-ATM092 cards refine into a Turtle Shell with Quezacotl's Card Mod ability. Turtle Shell becomes Protect spells, a good spell to have for junctioning. Turtle Shell can speed up Guardian Force development as it teaches Vit+20% to them, allowing the GFs that learn Vit+ abilities to start learning Vit+40% right away. Turtle Shells are also needed for some weapon remodeling. Another card that can be farmed for Turtle Shells is Adamantoise at 3:1 ratio, which as a Monster Card is easier to procure most of the time.
