The Wyrm (ウィルム, Wirumu?), also known as Succubus, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series. These enemies are generally stronger than the Wyverns.

Wyrms appear as enemies around Onrac and Mirage Tower. They are a more powerful palette swap of the Wyvern and sometimes appear alongside them.

Wyrms are a type of dragon. Each dragon metamorphosizes over the course of their long lives according to the needs of their environment, resulting in several drastically different creatures of the same race. Wyrms are go through the standard development that yields a common dragon, but with a far greater focus on size. Wyrms are the largest known dragons, ironically larger even than the "great wyrms" of the first brood.
Only one wyrm is encountered in Final Fantasy XIV, that being Vishap. Vishap is fought in the defense of Ishgard during The Steps of Faith as the final main scenario encounter of A Realm Reborn.
