I couldn't miss the chance to practice my drawing!
Oh, shut up and help me remodel the Wyrm (My Life as a King) page!
Wyrm is the final boss of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, fought at the Infinity Spire on the 99th floor.
Battle[edit | edit source]
He is by far the most powerful enemy in the game, possessing an attack similar to Omega's Wave Cannon called Tidal Wave (suggesting the "wyrm" may actually be Leviathan, or more likely Shinryu, considering its relationship with Omega, who is also in the same dungeon, and that Tidal Wave is also one of Shinryu's recurring attacks) that does 3,000 damage instead of 1,000. It can take multiple playthroughs to build an adventurer that can survive this attack.
Even its regular attacks are formidable and will take out less-souped-up adventurers in a single hit. He has about 35,000 HP, the most of any enemy in the game, and his defensive abilities far exceed that of any other enemy.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
It can be defeated with adventurers having less than 3,000 HP using a "soak team / kill team" strategy: The player should form three parties, two "soak teams" of weaker characters, and a "Kill team" consisting of your best characters. The player should tme their departures so that the "soak teams" leave well before the "kill team". The Wyrm will use Tidal Wave, wiping out the first two parties, before the kill team arrives. The Wyrm can only use Tidal Wave once per day, so the kill team will be able to do damage. They still have to be pretty strong as the player will only be able to attack every other day.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
European dragon. They appear mostly in Celtic and German mythology. They are depicted as flying, fire-breathing reptiles, with magical properties. The word wyrm is the original Germanic-based term for a serpent or dragon, draca being adopted from the Latin draco at an early time.Wyrm is an alternative name for mythological
