It is a [[point of no return]]. The dungeon's layout mostly consists of paths made out of dark energy, surrounded by a black void. To defeat the [[Cloud of Darkness]], the party must first find the [[Warriors of Darkness|Warriors of the Dark]] to weaken the final boss. To find each of them, they must first battle the bosses: [[Echidna (Final Fantasy III)|Echidna]], [[Ahriman (Final Fantasy III)|Ahriman]], [[Cerberus (Final Fantasy III)|Cerberus]] and [[Two Headed Dragon (Final Fantasy III)|Two Headed Dragon]]. Natural counterpart to the World of Light. Dark Cloud's base of operations and source of the darkness wich broke the balance between the two worlds by starting an invasion. The name ''World of Darkness'' was also used to refer to the surface world before [[Luneth]]'s party went down there. == Items == {|class="half-width FFIII article-table" style="text-align:center" |-class="a" !Item !Location |- !class="b"|[[Final Fantasy III armor#Ribbon|Ribbon]] |[[Cerberus (Final Fantasy III)|Cerberus's]] area. Here, the [[Onion Knight (Dissidia)|Onion Knight]] fights the [[Cloud of Darkness/Dissidia (PSP)|Cloud of Darkness]] to save [[Terra Branford/Dissidia (PSP)|Terra Branford]]. It is also the site of the first cutscene for [[Cloud Strife/Dissidia (PSP)|Cloud's]], [[Cecil Harvey/Dissidia (PSP)|Cecil's]], and [[Squall Leonhart/Dissidia (PSP)|Squall Leonhart's]] storylines, and is where [[Tidus/Dissidia (PSP)|Tidus]] and [[Firion/Dissidia (PSP)|Firion]] split up. In Firion's storyline, he fights [[Ultimecia/Dissidia (PSP)|Ultimecia]] directly afterwards. The World of Darkness consists of a polygonal dark crystalline area with many tall pillars and tendrils of dark energy circling the arena. Characters can use [[Quickmove]] to grind over the energy bars or to run up the pillars. In the background at one end of the stage, a staircase descends from nothingness. The arena's Ω form periodically shifts form to one of two other areas of the ''Final Fantasy III''. Depending on how close the characters are to each other when the shift occurs, the arena will shift to a small, closed-in area with a series of square pillars and platforms rising in the center, or a large open area consisting of transparent platforms connected by bars of dark energy hovering over a [[Banish Trap]]. Depending on which alternate area the characters are teleported to, the [[Bravery (stat)#Dissidia Final Fantasy|Bravery]] pool will rapidly increase depending on the distance of the two characters from each other. After a period of time, the arena shifts back to its default appearance. The [[battlegen]] item obtained through stage destruction in this area is Sealed Darkness. ==== ''[[Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy]]'' ==== The World of Darkness returns as an arena. In the 12th cycle, this is where [[Laguna Loire/Dissidia|Laguna]] encounters the Cloud of Darkness. === ''[[Theatrhythm Final Fantasy]]'' === The World of Darkness appears as the [[Battle Music Sequence]] for "[[Battle 2 (Final Fantasy III)|Battle 2]]", both from ''Final Fantasy III'' and ''Final Fantasy IV'', the latter as [[downloadable content]]. {{-}} ==== ''[[Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call]]'' ==== [[File:World of Darkness TFFCC.png|thumb|right|The World of Darkness]] The World of the Darkness returns as the BMS for both songs. {{-}} === ''[[Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade]]'' === [[File:FFAB True World of Darkness D012 Special.png|right]] {{Locat-stub|Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade}} {{-}} === ''[[Final Fantasy Record Keeper]]'' === {{Locat-stub|Final Fantasy Record Keeper}} {{-}} == Gallery == <gallery> FFIII NES - World of Darkness entrance.gif|The World of Darkness (NES). It was kept this way for the 3D remakes. *[[Hironobu Sakaguchi]] thought the last dungeon of ''Final Fantasy III'' was "horrible".<ref>{{Refwebsite| page url = http://www.onemillionpower.com/25-years-since-the-release-of-final-fantasy-vi-looking-back-at-the-passion/| page name = 25 Years Since The Release Of Final Fantasy VI – Looking Back At The Passion| site url = http://www.onemillionpower.com| site name = One Million Power| access time = 01:13, April 09, 2019 (UTC)}}</ref> ==References== {{Reflist}} {{navbox setting FFIII}} {{navbox DFF2008}} {{navbox setting D012}} [[it:Mondo dell'oscurità]] Loading editor Locations in Final Fantasy III Arenas in Dissidia Final Fantasy (2008) Arenas in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy Final dungeons Insert: – — ° Ω ≈ ≠ ≤ ≥ ± − × ÷ ← → ∙ § ☆ ★ ⭐ α Sign your username: ~~~~ Wiki markup: {{}} | [] [[]] [[wikipedia:]] [[Category:]] {{J|}} #REDIRECT [[]] <ref></ref> {{Reflist}} {{-}} {{-|left}} {{-|right}} <del></del> <small></small> <pre></pre> <code></code> <onlyinclude></onlyinclude> <includeonly></includeonly> <nowiki></nowiki> <nowiki/> <gallery></gallery> <!-- --> This field is a spam trap.
