The Wolves' Den Pier is a location in Final Fantasy XIV added in patch 2.1. It serves as the main PvP hub for players. Here players can redeem their winnings earned in PvP duties for a variety of rewards, check their current standings in the Feast, and hone their skills against striking dummies or other players in the Dueling Circle.
Players in the area with a PvP-eligible job will have their abilities replaced with their PvP equivalents, allowing players to customize their action bars safely before entering into a PvP duty.
The Wolves' Den Pier
This is the main section of the area, here you can find the aetheryte, mender, delivery moogle, and the summoning bell. There is also the Disreputable Priest a vendor players can purchase Garo gear from with Wolf Marks, and the team board where you can form pvp teams.
Wolves' Den Docks
This is where the Ferry skipper is that'll take players to Lower La Noscea.
A damaged ship that can no longer sail, the bottom of the ship is used as a market where players can purchase pvp gear, weapons, and other items. At the top of the ship there is a striking dummy and a fishing spot.
A location at the back of the ship where players can learn about the fundamentals of pvp and enter into matches.
A square arena where players can duel each other, inside the arena there are pillars and edged walls to practice dodging and hiding from opponents. Just outside the arena are six fighting dummies.
The Pier's climate may exhibit any of the following weather conditions:
|The table is set, and the wolves gather for the Feast! Will you gorge on the flesh of your foes, or find yourself served on a platter? Only the most savage of beasts are invited to this banquet─you'll need fangs of steel and an endless thirst for blood! Wait not for the tolling of the culling bell! Devour your rivals, take their hides for trophies, and build a hunter's throne from their bones!|
Dueling allows players to engage in 1 on 1 combat with each other with no outside interference. Players can only duel within the Dueling Circle found at Wolves' Den Pier. All normal PvP restrictions apply. Certain beneficial effects will be cancelled at the start of a duel. Duels have no time limit, and will end only when one of the combatants is incapacitated. However, should a player or their pet step outside of the Dueling Circle, their opponent will be declared the winner.
