The Witch of the Fens is a viera Red Mage who lives in an isolated hut in the Tramdine Fens on the continent of Ordalia in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. She plays a key role in a string of quests—the player must bring her the ingredients necessary, and she brews them into the quest item.

Profile[]

She is known for her skill at creating draughts, as well as her cold attitude, even by viera standards. Each time Luso comes along, seeking a draught, she does not bother making him pay for her services because there are "quite a few zeros" at the end, and Luso could never hope to match her price.

Quests[]

I Want to Forget Talking to the Witch at her hut will unlock a new area, where Luso must fight a group of Dreamhares and Zombies. Killing the Dreamhares nets the Lethean Draught, which removes memories; killing the zombies nets Zombie Powder, which kills a person but not their memories. As the client wants to die and forget something that happened to them, it's up to the player to decide which half of the request to fill. The law for this quest forbids the use of 20 MP or more; if the player doesn't break the law, they'll also receive Cruzle Brass, Bronze Armor, and Dark Matter. • The title Witch of the Fens is the same as Thingizzard's from the classic D&D adventure "White Plume Mountain."
