The Wind Shrine is a shrine built to protect the Wind Crystal in Final Fantasy V. It is accessible in Bartz's World and in the Merged World, although it is abandoned in the latter. A healing pot lies at its bottom, with water used by the scholars to heal injuries.

The king of Tycoon, Alexander Highwind Tycoon, flies from Castle Tycoon to check on the Wind Crystal. Upon his arrival, the crystal shatters, and the wind stops blowing.
Bartz, Galuf, Lenna, and Faris come after him to check on the crystal, meeting with a group of scholars who fled to the ground floor after monsters started to read the place, and on the way face the Wing Raptor. Upon reaching the crystal room, they find the crystal shattered. The crystal shards resonate with the party and the other crystals, giving the new Light Warriors their energy and granting the Wind Crystal's Jobs: The Knight, the Monk, the Thief, the Black Mage, the White Mage, and the Blue Mage.

Princess Lenna Tycoon goes in search of her father, meeting Bartz, Galuf, and the pirate Faris along the way. Together, they enter the Wind Shrine to obtain the crystal within.
Wind Shrine is unlocked by completing S.S. Liki in the Final Fantasy X realm. Completion of this dungeon unlocks Torna Canal in the Final Fantasy V realm.
