Etymology

Mousse is a pudding-like dessert made of sugar, eggs, and usually some kind of flavoring, such as chocolate. It can also be made non-traditionally with cream as an ingredient.

It has also been known as "Tofu". Tofu, also known as bean curd, is a food made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. It is a component in East Asian and Southeast Asian cuisines.
