White monks eschew the steel of swords, tempering instead their fists and bodies.

Description

White Monk is a job class in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift for the bangaa, and is one of the two starting jobs available for them.

Profile

White Monks use knuckles for weapons and cannot wear caps or helmets. They have several healing abilities that can allow the unit to substitute for a White Mage in times of need.

The White Monk is faster than the average bangaa and can use the Counter ability earlier than most classes, as well as having several useful ranged attacks, such as Air Render. Their Revive ability is often used to access the Blue Magick ability Cornered—as the Blue Mage will be revived with 1 HP, they can abuse the 999 100% damage of said ability.
