A practitioner of healing magic, the white mage is invaluable when it comes to restoring HP or removing debuffs. Though lacking in martial skill, no small number of battles have been won thanks to her spellcraft.

Description.

White Mage appears as a playable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper. It is a Core class, unassociated with any specific title.

Overview[edit | edit source]

As with all Core characters, the White Mage is a subpar character, with poor stats, limited Soul Breaks, and limited versatility. It has the distinction of being one of two characters the player will win from their first dungeon, the other being the Black Mage. The White Mage has a rival in the Devout, another Core class able to use White Magic. The White Mage has inferior stats than the Devout in every field, and the Devout is able to use Rank 5 White Magic, while the White Mage is limited to Rank 4. This makes the Devout universally superior to the White Mage in every way, and once the player acquires the Devout (or, really, any healer with Rank 5 White Magic), they will have no further use for the White Mage. However, later in the game it is worth leveling the White Mage up to acquire its Record Materia, which are quite useful.
