Whirlwind in Final Fantasy XIII-2.
Whirlwind (旋風, Senpū?), also known as Gust, is a recurring spell and ability in the Final Fantasy series. It does damage to all enemies, sometimes Wind-elemental and other times non-elemental. In some games, Whirlwind is an alternate name for Tornado.

Whirlwind is an augment ability that causes Wind damage and inflicts weakness to Fire. It costs 60 MP.
Final Fantasy XI[edit | edit source]
Whirlwind is an enemy ability that deals Wind damage to enemies within range with an additional VIT Down effect. It can be used by the Sea Monk family.
Final Fantasy XII[edit | edit source]
Gust is a physical enemy technick that deals wind-elemental damage. It is used by Urstrix (Lv. 10-11), Wyvern, Bagoly (Nam-Yensa Sandsea), and Wyvern Lord.

Whirlwind is an exclusive ability for Chaos Bahamut. It launches the targets into the air.

Whirlwind is learned from the Claymore for 300 AP, and costs 8 MP to cast. It is used by the Raptor class, and deals Wind-elemental damage to one enemy with a chance of Confuse within four squares.
