Whip (FFIV version) in Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
The Whip (むち, Muchi?) is a recurring weapon from the Final Fantasy series. It is a basic weapon, often being the first whip in the game.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy IV[]
The Whip has 20 attack and has a 30% chance of paralyzing targets when the user attacks. It is initially equipped by Rydia when she rejoins in the Dwarven Castle, and can be purchased in Mist and the Feymarch for 3,000 gil. Only Rydia can equip it.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
The Whip has 10 attack and a 30% chance of paralyzing enemies when the user attacks. It is initially equipped by Rydia (Rydia's Tale and Porom's Tale) and by Harley (Edward's Tale). It can be purchased in Mist, and the Dwarven Castle (Rydia's Tale and Porom's Tale), for 200 gil. The Whip can be equipped by Rydia, Harley and Izayoi.
Final Fantasy V[]
The Whip has 23 power, a hit rate of 26, and a 50% chance of inflicting paralysis on Mystic Beast-type enemies. It can be bought in Karnak and Lix for 1,100 gil, and drops from Magissa. It can be equipped by Freelancers and Beastmasters.
Final Fantasy Type-0[]
Whipblade is Seven's initial weapon. It provides 3 Attack. It can be found as a treasure in the Bethnel Caverns. It sells for 80 gil.
The Final Fantasy Legend[]
The Whip can be bought in Town of Hero for 80 GP. It has 50 use and an attack power of 15, the damage formula for Whip is base on Agility.
Final Fantasy Legend II[]
Whip has a whip icon before its name. It can be bought for 400 GP in Desert Town and found inside Relics of the Ancient Gods. It has 40 use, it also increases a Robot's HP by 18 and increases their Agl by 4. The damage formula for Whip is the user's Str x7, it also has a 57% chance of inflicting Para on one enemy for one round after the hit.
