Weapon Break (ウェポンブレイク or ウエポンブレイク, Wepon Bureiku?), also known as Rend Weapon or Dismantle, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It generally either destroys the target's equipped weapon or lowers their attack power.

Weapon Break is a Great Axe weapon skill. It is a single-hit attack and lowers Attack, provides a TP enhancement to ATK Down duration, can skill chain into Impaction, and requires a combat skill of 175.

Rend Weapon is part of the Knight's skillset, learned for 400 JP. In the original PlayStation version, it was useless against enemies that cannot equip weapons. In the War of the Lions re-release, it instead deals damage to anything that does not have a weapon.

Weapon Break is an ability learned by Ray Jack at level 5 (5★), Knight Delita at level 32 (5★), Balthier at level 70 (5★), Ramza at level 12 (6★), Meliadoul at level 60 (6★), Mercenary Ramza at level 51 (5★), and Argus. It costs 12 MP to use and deals 1 hit of physical damage with a modifier of 1.8x and reduces ATK by 40% for 5 turns to one enemy. For Mercenary Ramza, if used after Blade of Justice +2, it instead reduces ATK by 60%. For Ramza, it can be upgraded to +2. For Argus, when fully upgraded, it has a modifier of 70x and reduces ATK by 85%.
