Water III is a water-elemental Black Magic spell in Final Fantasy XI. It is the third tier of the single target Water spells.

Despite sharing the name in the English localization of Final Fantasy XIV, the abilities known as Water III in the title are in fact the recurring Waterga spell in Japanese.

This spell is purchasable in Lower Jeuno and Aht Urhgan Whitegate for 22,682 gil. It is also sometimes found as loot on Sapphire Quadav, as well as two different Tonberry Notorious Monsters.

Use

An upgraded version of the Water II spell, it deals Water-based elemental damage to a single target. It serves as the preferred method of inflicting water damage to single targets during the level 50 - 70 leveling period.

Depending on the level of the player character, Trust party members such as Shantotto and Adelheid may use Water III in combat.
