Labyrinth of War

"Labyrinth of War" is the background theme that plays in the Watchplains. "Champions' Melody" can be heard when the Warrior of Light awakens as a Champion in Chapter 4.

Behind the scenes

The Watchplains serves as the setting for several Intervention Quests: Where Art Thou, Smoochy-Poo?, The Black Chocobo, Chocolatte's Master, I Have Awaited This Day..., and Chosen by the Tribe.

Areas of this dungeon are used in bonus dungeons: Backroad 2 appears as the fifth area in EX Dungeon Z; in the Maxima version exclusive Hidden Dungeon, Backroad 1 appears as the dungeon's first room, while Backroad 3 appears after clearing the two floors of each elemental route.
