Warp Crystals are special crystals in World of Final Fantasy that allow the player to warp to another location, and are found only in later dungeons. Warp Crystals come in several colors, and often come in pairs and allow the player to transport back and forth with them. Some Warp Crystal pairs, however, may have an inactive crystal (indicated as being colorless) and the player must examine its colored counterpart to activate it. There are also instances where examining a Warp Crystal will even create another that did not exist before. In the Maxima version exclusive Hidden Dungeon, there are also Warp Crystals that serve as a one-way transportation to other areas.
