You start at the [Footfalls of the Past]. Go to the [Colosseum] and get the map of this area on the opposite side of treasure chest no. 19. Make way to the [Path of Hidden Blessing] and save. Exit to the Pharos.

You begin at [They Who Thirst Not]. A few steps ahead you will have a boss fight. Cast all kinds of positive statuses on your characters and move on to the open area for a scene.

Boss: Hydro
LVL HP EXP LP  47  208,800  0  35 Steal: Maggoty Flesh, Corpse Fly, Wyrm Bone Why come back from the dead when it can only last a few seconds! Dispel its Haste and cast Slow on the boss. There’s nothing to really watch out for in this battle. Approach the big doors for a scene after which you will be inside the [Pharos]. The map of the [First Ascent] (interior part) is at the south (on the other side of the broken wall near treasure chest no. 8). When you defeat an enemy at the [Pharos], it will usually drop a Black Orb. You need to pick up this item before it disappears. You need to use the Black Orb at the Altars of Night in order to proceed further. On the current floor you are there are 3 Altars of Night and you need to use one Black Orb at each of them. When the seal has been broken, go east and open the door there (Threshold of Night). Go east and up the hill to approach the stone creature for a boss fight.

Boss: Pandaemonium
LVL HP EXP LP  45  116,678  0  36 Steal: Ancient Turtle Shell, Aries Gem, Scarletite Begin by removing its Protect status then use Remedy + Nihopalaoa if you want. When the boss' HP goes low it will bring up Perfect Defense which will last about 2 minutes or so. You will return to the [Wellspring Labyrinth] after the battle. Return to the gate crystal and save. The nearby Way Stone is now functional so use it to reach the next area. From this point on, you will encounter Fool’s Façades; a fake wall which you need to strike if you want to pick up the treasure chests behind it. Go up the stairs and kill the 2 Brainpans to form a bridge. Defeating a Brainpan forms part of a bridge but if you defeat a Deidar, part of the bridge you are constructing will disappear. You should avoid killing Deidars while forming a bridge otherwise you will have to wait for Brainpans to re-spawn. Move forward and defeat 4 Brainpans to form the next bridge. At the [Wellspring Ravel - 2nd Flight] defeat 6 Brainpans to form another bridge. Take the west end to reach the next area. Defeat five Brainpans at the [Wellspring Ravel - 3rd Flight] to proceed further. Ignore treasure chest no. 24 for now (or at all, if you don't have an Archer). Defeat 10 Brainpans to form the next bridge. Go to the [Wellspring Ravel - 4th Flight] and defeat 3 Deidars to form a bridge below. Return to the previous floor to open treasure chest no. 29. Head to the [4th Flight] and this time kill 3 Brainpans to form another bridge. Make way to the [Horizon’s Break]. Save and reset to re-spawn Deidars and Brainpans. Return to the [4th Flight] and kill 5 Deidars. Go to the [3rd Flight] and open treasure chest no. 30 (which contains Holy). Lastly, kill 4 additional Deidars to form a bridge leading towards treasure chest no. 24 (should you want the bow). Return to the [Horizon’s Break] and save again. Go to the [Horizon’s Cusp] and open the Ancient Door.

Boss: Slyt
LVL HP EXP LP  47  92,661  0  36 Steal: Yensa Scale, Pisces Gem, Yensa Fin This one is even weaker compared to the previous bosses you have encountered since you entered the [Pharos]. You will return to the [Horizon’s Cusp] after the battle. Open the Ancient Door and go south towards the Way Stone. Use it to reach the Second Ascent.
