Missions 21-26 are on walkthrough parts 16 and 17.

Mission 27 - Mithridates, the Lone[]

Mithridates
Mark: Mithridates
Cie'th Stone Location: Taejin's Tower - The Cloven Spire
Mark Location: Taejin's Tower - Ground Tier
Class: B
Reward: Blaze Ring
Note: To actually get to the mark, you need to talk to the Menhirrim on the Apex. It'll bring up an elevator that will take you to the 7th Tier. There, you need to talk to another Menhirrim to spin the tower to connect the 7th tier with all of the other tiers. You then need to ride down from the Apex to the Ground Tier for the mission to activate.

On the 7th Tier, you can find a Collector's Catalog.

You might want to use a Fortisol and an Aegisol before the battle. You'll need a Synergist to use Barthunder to lower the damage of Levinbolt. When you're buffed and are in green health, switch to Tri-disaster and stay on the paradigm until it's dead.

Mission 28 - Faded Glory[]

FFXIII Ceratosaur
Mark: Ceratosaur
Cie'th Stone Location: Oerba - Village Proper
Mark Location: Oerba - Village Proper
Class: C
Reward: Giant's Glove
Note:

Set you're default Paradigm to Aggression and take them out with a bunch of Blitz attacks.

Mission 29 - Faltering Faith[]

FFXIII enemy Juggernaut
Mark: Juggernaut
Cie'th Stone Location: Mah'habara - Maw of the Abyss
Mark Location: Taejin's Tower - The Palisades
Class: B
Reward: Uraninite
Note:

To guarantee a 5 star rating, get a preemptive strike. When it's staggered, debuff it with at least 4 debuffs, Launch it, and keep pummeling til it's dead.

Mission 30 - Syphax, the Insidious[]

Syphax
Mark: Syphax
Cie'th Stone Location: Archylte Steppe - Haerii Oldroad
Mark Location: Mah'habara - Abandoned Dig
Class: B
Reward: Uraninite
Note: Before the Syphax comes in, there's going to be 20 Numidia involved.

They're easy to take out with Commandos. You'll probably want to start out with the Strike Team paradigm. 2 Commandos, 1 Synergist. When a party member goes below half, switch to Solidarity. When Syphax comes in, debuff it with atleast Deprotect and Deshell, then stagger it and it will go down easy.

Mission 31 - Newfound Purpose[]

FFXIII enemy Pulsework Champion
Mark: Pulsework Champion
Cie'th Stone Location: Archylte Steppe - Haerii Archaeopolis
Mark Location: Archylte Steppe - Haerii Archaeopolis
Class: B
Reward: 3 Perfect Conductors
Note:

Use a Deceptisol and start with Aggression. Go for the Champion, while the other Commando takes out the seekers.

Mission 32 - And Then There Was One[]

FFXIII enemy Amam
Mark: Amam
Cie'th Stone Location: Vallis Media - Earthern Bosom
Mark Location: Archylte Steppe - Western Benchland
Class: B
Reward: Glass Buckle
Note:

You are able to get a preemptive strike on it. Debuff it with Deprotect and Deshell then keep bringing out the attacks.

Mission 33 - A Parent's Pledge[]

FFXIII enemy Adamanchelid
Mark: Adamanchelid
Cie'th Stone Location: Archylte Steppe - Haerii Archaeopolis
Mark Location: Archylte Steppe - Eastern Tors
Class: B
Reward: White Cape
Note:

Start out with Guerilla and get at least 3 debuffs on it. Stagger it, then switch to your best offensive paradigm. If it uses Quake, switch to Solidarity.

Mission 34 - Zenobia, The Butcher[]

FFXIII Tonberry
Mark: Tonberry
Cie'th Stone Location: Archylte Steppe - Way of the Ancients
Mark Location: Archylte Steppe - Haerii Archaeopolis
Class: B
Reward: Hermes Sandals
Note:

Well, at least we're spared of the horrible ugliness of this Cie'th. This is ridiculous. The thing goes down with one Doink! to the leg.

This is much easier than people make it sound. Start out with Guerilla and get atleast 3 debuffs on it. Switch to Tri-disaster and work on staggering it. Once it's staggered, you are able to launch it.

Mission 35 - The Road Less Traveled[]

Gurangatch
Mark: Gurangatch
Cie'th Stone Location: Faultwarrens - Truthseeker's Rise
Mark Location: Faultwarrens - Primeval Crossroads
Class: C
Reward: Witch's Bracelet
Note: These missions here through Mission 51 are a part of the Faultwarrens. There is a very useful map on the Faulwarrens page that will help you get to where you want to be. For these missions, use a Deceptisol for every one unless I say otherwise. Although I doubt you have that many...

Use a Deceptisol before the battle. The Target Time makes it kind of impossible to get a 5-star rating. When it's staggered, debuff it and Launch it. That should do it.

Mission 36 - Dark Deliverance[]

FFXIII enemy Amam
Mark: Amam
Cie'th Stone Location: Faultwarrens - Primeval Crossroads
Mark Location: Faultwarrens - A Dance of Shadow
Class: C
Reward: Uraninite
Note:

Get that preemptive strike and go with Relentless Assault on one of them. When that one is dead, debuff the other one and stagger it. That's the end of that.
