Hello again everyone, It is I Cymbeline and this marks this first page where I'll begin linking my name for all to see. That note aside let us begin Part 4.

Chapter 3-Lake Bresha[]

Watch the scene from Day 11, to bad its about Snow, but expect a lot of flashbacks from the past 13 days before the start of the game. Snow shows himself to be a complete idiot by flying right into the fireworks and the game shows why you should never do that. Anyway save your game and welcome to the crystalized Lake Bresha. Soon you will be in a fight, watch the turorial for the paradigms, because this game never lets me explain anything...after the battle Hope whines about the situation, but Vanille being the awesome person she is helps him realize what he needs to do. Your battle team is now Lightning, Snow, and Vanille, but before you move on go to the menu and change your paradigms. (I'm not going to show you all the paradigms you can have, but only the ones I deem useful for where you are and what your team is)

Paradigm Lightning Snow Vanille
Relentless Assault Commando Ravager Ravager
Diversity Commando Ravager Medic

Run forward until you find where Hope and Vanille are, then watch the scene. So it seems like they need to do something with Ragnarok. Anyways the game now give you a Crystarium Tutorial, watch it if you want then move on. You don't need to develope your characters yet. Run forward and you will see a save station, ignore it for now and run to the left of it. Fight the enemies in your way, then open the treasure sphere for a Pearlwing Staff. Equip that to Vanille, then head back to the save station. Run up from there and fight the enemies. When they're gone jump up to the treasure sphere for Chipped Fangx7. Continue running north and jump up the metal pillars. then run to the small corner area to your right. Open the treasure sphere for 200 Gil. Continue running forward for a scene again Lightning pull some fast move and when the battle begins you get a Command Execution tutorial, but heres all you need to know, Y/Triangle makes you execute moves early, and B/O makes you remove moves or cancle your action, as for the enemies themselves, they're nothing to worry about. Vanille suggest running away and the team runs after her.

Run forward killing the enemies, and run up the path to the right to get to a treasure sphere that holds Cie'th Tearx5. Once you have those run back and take the other path until you run into a battle against some Breshan Bass, remember to heal if anybody HP falls to red. This will probably be the last time I remind you but I can't make any promises. With them gone run down the side path to the left and kill the enemies. Open the treasure sphere for a Silver Bangle, give that to Vanille, also take the Power Wristband from Sazh, and give it to Lightning to increase her damage output. Once you have that turn around and run up the hill to save at the save station. Follow the linear path north and listen to everyone make introductions then watch the scene. Continue north and kill the Pantherons, then open the treasure sphere to your left for a Phoenix Down. Head up the hill to the right and open the treaure sphere for 50 Gil. Head to where Vanille and Snow are then head under the chain and fight the enemies, keep heading north and open the treasure sphere for Strange Fluidx8. Continue heading up and on the path to the left kill the enemies and open the treasure sphere for a Magician's Mask. GIVE THE MAGICIAN'S MARK TO VANILLE NOW!!! Sorry about that but its an accessory that she will be using A LOT, so get used to it. Now head up the other path and save at the save station.

Now before you move on go to the Crystarium and if Snow can master all three of his roles you are in a good spot to take on the boss. Now have Lightning work to Lifesiphon then Powerchain (Commando) (She didn't get it for me but that ok its just a goal), and Vanille should work for Water (Ravager) and then focus on maxing out her Ravager role. That out of the way make sure you have Relentless Assault and Diversity Paradigms before heading down to a boss fight. (I love Lightning in this cutscene, Snow had it comming)

Boss Fight: Manasvin Warmech
HP: 32,400
Magic: 0
Attack: 44
CP: 64
Difficulty: Medium

This is the first boss where staggering him is the key to winning, is also is the first fight where you need a little strategey to win. Start with Relentless Assault until it uses an attack called Wave Cannon then switch to Diversity to heal your characters up and stay in Diversity until it finishes an attack called Crystal Rain. Just rinse and repeat until this machine falls. Also if someones HP goes low Yellow, switch to heal. For winning you get a Digital Circuit.

Watch the scene and again Lightning beats Snow and everyone gets smart and just leaves him behind. Its better this way because we now have Sazh replacing Snow in the Party. Start off by getting some upgrades for all three characters in your main party. Lightning should get Powerchain (Commando), Vanille keep moving down her Ravager tree, and Sazh has nothing but Ravager to work on. And again you only need these two paradigms for the rest of the chapter.

Paradigm Lightning Vanille Sazh
Relentless Assault Commando Ravager Ravager
Diversity Commando Medic Ravager

Kill the Breshan Bass on the bridge then check the path to the right for a treasure sphere with Strange Fluidx6. Jump down and kill the Panterons. Turn around and head down the left most tube to get two treasure spheres with 240 Gil and the Deneb Duellers for Sazh. Equip those to Sazh as well as an Iron Bangle. Now go back and go down the other tube and remember "Do NOT shake the slippery tube." At the end you will be jumped by Breshan Bass so whipe them out. Now head down the side passage tube thing to your right and kill the Bloodfang Bass then open the sphere for Enigmatic Fluidx6. Now head back and continue up to hear Vanille and Hope talking. On a hill there is a group of weak Panterons so kill then and open the treasure sphere for Wicked Fangx7. Now turn back and examine the ship next to Vanille and Hope to open the way forward.

Run across the bridge and kill all the bass in your way. Save at the save station and then continue forward to fight a Alpha Behemoth. Watcht the Turorial is you want and cast Libra before attacking. Quickly stagger and kill him before he can go into Extermination Mode and whipe out our whole team. When its gone examine the long side path to the right and open the treasure sphere for a Librascope. Continue forward and watch the scene, poor Vanille, well anyway run down the linear path until you reach a more open area. Destroy the machines, then head down the side path to the right and open the treasure sphere for Digital Circuitx2. Go back and follow the path you were before and take the path behind the crystal falls (right path). Open the treasure spheres here for Paraffin Oilx2 and 50 Gil. Then continue climbing and fight the drone and the Ciconia Velocycle. Kill the drone first and then fight the cycle. Go to the side cliff edge thing to the right and open the treasure sphere here for Insulated Cablingx3. Now go back and save your game, then follow the linear path opening the treasure spheres on the way for 30 Gil and Begrimed Clawsx6.

Run into the ruins and save at the save station, then run forward and in the side area to the right there is a treasure sphere with 600 Gil. After you collect it try to back attack the Behemoth so you can kill it quickly. Continue up the stairs and in the top right cornor of this area there is a treasure sphere with Digal Circuitx2. Now head to the other side of the room and continue onward. Head down the hall to the right and look in the little room to the right to get Begrimed Clawsx7, then head forward and whipe out the enemies in your way. In the top left area of the room with the two Crusaders there is a treasure sphere with a Spark Ring., and once you collect that head right and open the next treasure sphere you encounter for Potionx3. Once you collect those head up for a save station. Now there is a shortcut in front of you but take the long way around to the left for more CP and a treasure sphere with a Millerite.

After getting the Millerite just keep running forward until you reach the end of the hallway and head up the stairs to your left to reach a treasure sphere with a Ferroelectric Film. Now jump down and continue up until you reach a save station. Save then open the two treasure spheres around it for a Phoenix Down and Librascopex2. Now before you move on go to the Crystarium and you should max Lightning's Commando and almost max her Ravager, Vanille should max Ravager and almost Medic, and Sazh should max his Ravager. Now I suggest going back and getting enough CP to master Ravager for Lightning, and Medic for Vanille (So at least 120 CP, and the fastest way to do this is to run down the stairs by the Save Station, kill the group of 4 PSICOM units, then rinse and repeat). If you don't want to that fine just head up and to another boss fight.

Boss Fight: Garuda Interceptor
HP: 8,000/16,200
Magic: 0
Attack: 58
CP: 240
Difficulty: Easy

This battle is split into two parts, hence the two HP totals. Start off by attacking him with all you have (Rentless Assault) until a cutscene. Now the fight gets harder. His health is doubled and he has a barrier effect that cut Physical and Magical damage down to 1/10 of what it normally would do. Just focus on attacking and heal whenever someones health falls low and once you stagger it once the creature will fall instantly. For winning you get acess to the store Up in Arms, Sazh gets his Synergist role and Vanille gets her Saboteur role, everyone gets a Crystarium expansion and you also get a Silver Bangle. Great Rewards for a not-so-hard fight.

After the battle the team finds an airship and then save your game, and nope your still not done with chapter 3, we have to go back to Snow, who is still trying to dig out Serah, when a gift from God (or at least to me it is) comes to get rid of Snow once and for all, sadly for me and for PSICOM Snow is a L'Cie so he won't die that eaisily. Fight off the PSICOM Rangers then watch the scene, and now its time for the final battle of the Chapter.

Eidolon Fight: Shiva (Stiria and Nix)
Shiva Artwork XIII
HP: -
Magic: 1,000 (Stiria)/60 (Nix)
Attack: 50 (Stiria)/55 (Nix)
CP: 0
Difficulty: Easy

This fight could be hard if you didn't know what you were doing, but I'm here to tell you what to do, so it's easy. Just change to Sentinel and Steelguard until the Purple Gastalt gauge fills all the way, and it should by the time the Doom counter reaches 400. Oh and don't worry about healing, Stiria has you covered.

With that out of the way Snow now has the Shiva Eidolon, and he gains and ATB segment, too bad we won't be using him again until Chapter 7. (Did I just say too bad, I mean that its great we don't have to deal with him for a long time.) And yay say hello to another awesome character in the game but like Snow we won't use her until Chapter 7 so we will wait until then to give her a box. Watch the cinematic and bam, its the end of Chapter 3. Save when prompted and I'll see you next time for Chapter 4.
