Well, we are in the chapter 6 of this little walkthrough by TenzaZangetsu. I didn't think that we would last until page 6, I didn't even think that we would last to page 1, but those are the surprises of life I think...

Strategy Edit

More soldiers of Corpse Brigade are talking about Gustav and Wiegraf and who they should follow, tough call. All of the party enter to save the Marquis, so we must kill them all. That's the best order a game can give you.

This is the first battle where you must form two groups - the first one is with Delita and Ramza, you can add just one generic unit (bring a physical attacker with those two), and the second team will be with the Bastard (bring a Black Mage and a backup unit, physical or magical, it doesn't matter which one you bring, as long the bastard is a Knight to deal heavy damage). The enemy has the first couple of Monks of the game, but they are not that powerful in this battle. The one who is closest to Delita and Ramza will go to that group, whilst, the rest of the Corpse Brigade will go to the team of the Bastard (that's why you must have a Black Mage in the second team to kill many units with one blast of Black Magic). The first team must take advantage of that situation to enter from behind - kill the Monk who tries to defeat you all by himself (who is he, Zack?). After team one enter from behind and kill that Monk, start attacking the Knights and kill them. The Archers don't have the necessary height in this battle to be a threat.

This fight isn't very complicated. Give Delita a few turns so he can get EXP and JP, by this battle, he should be close enough to learn the "Throw Items" ability. As I told you in his character box, turn him into a Archer after he learns that ability.

After Battle Edit

Gustav of the Corpse Brigade is facing Wiegraf in a one-on-one battle, but he is no match for the leader of the Corpse Brigade and is defeated with ease. Our party enters the room and we find the Marquis there. Wiegraf accepts a trade of the Marquis for his escape (a very good move, I must include, that seems something that I will do). The leader of the terrorist organization escapes but we save the Marquis Elmdore. The Bastard still wants to fight Wiegraf (believe me, Bastard, you don't have a chance against him). Delita stops him, saying the Corpse Brigade will destroy itself. Ramza says that the Marquis is alright, now we must return to Eagrose.

Eagrose Castle Edit

Dycedarg starts to give us a lecture about not escaping from your job. Delita says going to the Zeklaus desert was his idea and that he forced Ramza, but he also says that wasn't Delita's idea, that he is only trying to protect him. Then enters the Duke Bestrald Larg - this guy is Dycedarg's boss -, who sends us to the Brigands' Den to defeat one of the hideouts of the Corpse Brigade. After we leave a weird conversation happens between Dycedarg and Larg.

Training Edit

Before you even think of going to the next battle, you need a few things:

  • First of all, make your Archer a Thief and teach him (it has to be a male unit for the strategy to work) "Steal Heart" to make the next battle more easy.
  • Turn the Bastard into a Chemist to support your units with Delita with Potions.
  • After Ramza learns "JP Boost" and "Move +1" as a Squire, turn him into a Knight so he can use heavy equipment and Knight Swords. You will need every piece of power for this battle.
  • Your Black Mage should know a second level Black Magic, I suggest "Thundara" but that's your decision.
  • And finally, your White Mage must learn "Cura" to heal your weak units by high amounts.

Well, that's all you need for the next battle, you must use three units with Ramza to win this battle but you can use any team that you want, I'm just here to help you.

We will continue in the next chapter of Bleach, I mean... of the Walkthrough.
