This fight is just weird. Loffrey is a combination between Melia's Divine Knight Class and Cletienne's Sorcerer Class and having both commands but he has a full of Mages to back him up, which is not a very good idea fighting our party full of Swordskills characters. The only real danger is that the Templar destroy your rare equipment but if you have been listening to me, your main five should have "Safeguard", making this fight a hell up easier. |

Revision as of 22:16, 4 September 2009
Finally, we are in the last moments of this long Walkthrough. After several months of doing this project, we are finally close to the very end, let's do it.
Final Dungeon
Our next destiny, Orbonne, is the last location in the game and the last Multi-Battle Zone in the game but still, make a backup file to not stay there forever and to do the Sidequests, if you haven't do them yet. Also, because this is the last location, anything you steal here won't stay in your inventory after the ending credits so don't steal anything and focus on winning.
If you follow my strategies and suggestions, this should be your final party:
The ones that will destroy the Lucavi
Ramza | Balthier | Thunder God | Agrias | Cloud
Dark Knight/Squire | Sky Pirate | Sword Saint | Holy Knight | Soldier/Time Mage
These four (because Ramza is mandatory) are the one that should be in your main party for this final Multi-Battle Zone, their average Levels must be Level 65. The Thunder God has all the best Swordskills and a amazing power, making the rest of the battles a walk on the park.
Balthier can charm the female units with "Steal Heart", steal the equipment of the enemy, use Machinist's skills and his own "Barrage" attack. Agrias can use the Tynar Rogue and she has tons of raw power but sadly she lacks the Thunder God's variety of attacks. Cloud is in the final team because he can buff your party with Time Magics and with enough training, he is very strong but you're free to replace him with Beowulf or Melia, if you want to. A very important need, your five characters need to know "Safeguard". Note: Once again, I have to use Cloud's artwork made by Nomura, if you can find me a Yoshida artwork of him, please let me know. |

Strategy
Loffrey is in a hurry to enter a room in the basement of Orbonne but he leaves some soldiers to be aware of us, that's when we enter to do some killing.
The hardest part of this battle is the battlefield. With so many heights and places to hide, it will take you a while to kill the enemies but it's a good thing that the enemy doesn't have anything good to defend themselves. The Knights lack any special equipment or abilities to be a danger, same deal with that Archer. The Monks are too weak at this moment to fight with light equipment, an easy target.
Your party can have tons of fun here with such an easy enemy. Ramza, Agrias and the Thunder God can destroy the Knights with their Swordskills while Balthier and Cloud kill the light units. I really what to write in this section because this fight is very easy.
Once you win, you'll hear Loffrey saying some weird words that I never understand.
