Man, I need a girl. You know why I'm saying this? You think a guy with a girl would be here writing a walkthrough? I don't think so.
Training for Ramza
Now that you have Luso in your party, is time to give Ramza his personal training. The young man of House Beoulve will be having one of the hardest battles very soon and he needs to be prepared. Ramza must have this exact same ability set to win that battle so listen to me carefully in this one if you haven't paying attention throughout the entire walkthrough.
Make him a Monk again and teach him "Lifefont" if you haven't teach that skill yet. Make him unlock the Ninja Job Class so you can teach him "Dual Weild". If you have read the first page of the Walkthrough, I already explain to you how this ability works so I'm not going to tell you again. This is also a good chance to train your Generic Ninjas.
Now, one of the most important: Auto-Potion. Ramza is going to need this one badly. Turn him into a Chemist and together with Mustadio as another Chemist can learn the ability a lot faster. While you are at it, buy many X-Potions, this is the only the strategy is going to work. Teach him "X-Potion" while you're in the Chemist class.
After that, our hero needs to master the "Martial Arts" and "Mettle" commands. If you manages to learn all that, you'll be fine. Take this time to teach Luso some new abilities. "Shout" and "JP Boost" are great ones.

We find some ex-soldiers of the Southern Sky, these guy are more desertors than ex-soldiers, actually. Well, they want to fight Ramza but he doesn't want to fight them. The Chemist realize that our hero is the famous heretic and now they want the reward. Let's do this shit!
This fight is very easy. And when I say easy, I mean easy. The entire enemy's team is made by crappy light units and by this stage of the game, you can kill really fast. Those Squires are using Axes, this is the first we see Axes in a storyline battle, right? Well, that's because the damage of that weapon is totally random, that means they can do 120 of damage and later 30, not cool. Good thing is your enemy who's using those weapon and with the Squire class, they are asking to get kill, give them their wish.
The Chemists are the best thing of this team. They can heal the enemy, as usual but one of them has "Auto-Potion", making the task of killing them a little bit harder but still far from being a challenge. The Archer are the thing they have being the entire game: Useless. Let's move on.
Those female Thieves are interesting foes. They can use "Steal Heart" on your male units and since you must have at least one male (Ramza), this could be a problem. They can also steal your equipment so you must kill them first. A priority. No one plays with my guys (just me and that's because this is a video-game).
Now, this is my favorite part: Explain how are you going to kill them all. Since all the units are light ones. Your Dragoon/Thief's "Jump" is excellent to kill them, as is Agrias's "Hallowed Bolt". Black Mages and Knight are very useful too. Actually, pretty much every attack works here as long is a good attack.
Anyway, Ramza and Luso can use their physical attacks, both greats, specially Luso's since he can use "Shout". Give Ramza the Icebrand to compesate that. Your new Dark Behemoth can fight here if you want, "Almagest" can make things a hell more easy.
For wnning the fight, you get a Mythril Gun. Afterwards, we meet Orran again, now riding a Chocobo. It tourn out that he is one of the leaders of the Southern Sky. He thanks us again for saving him at the beginning of the Chapter 3 and as a gift, he will not sold us to the autorities. What a pal.

When we go into this battle, you will recognize the dude who threat us back in Dorter but now he is talking to someone who appears to be his sister, Rapha Galthena. The dude with the funny hair is now known as Marach Galthena. They are two orphans with special powers who were save in their childhood by Grand Duke Gerrith Barrington but now Rapha doesn't want to follow him and her brother wants to change her mind but at the hard way. There is when our party comes in to fight.
In this fight you will have Rapha as a ally and Marach as a enemy. I have news for you: Their special Job Class is the same thing but with a different name. I don't care what people say, is the same thing. And it's not like that is a useful job. All of their Mantra abilities hit random squares on the zone they choose. The attack does moderate damage but is far from being a attack worth of your time.
Luckily, all Rapha does is run away to one of the corners of the battlefield. This work at your favor because that way she won't be bugging you with her Mantra's skills. At least Square accept the fact that she is useless. Marach is now great thing either. His attacks are low and as I told you, his Mantra sucks and kill him is more easy than the girls of my school. But wait! Marach has a good set of equipment. Steal it before you finish him.
The rest of the enemy's team is actually something to be afraid of. They have a good balance between physical and Magical strength. Those Ninjas are the fastest unit in the game and they are going to prove you that in this fight. Never underestimate "Dual Wield". NEVER. The Summoners are back to piss us off. Their Summons are even more powerful this time. If you are sloppy, you may get killed here several times.
If you want to avoid such situation, listen to me. In this fight, power is all what it takes to win. Strategy, not so much. I think is better just overpower the enemy with heavy units. Ramza and Luso can go to kill those Ninjas, to fight a pair battle, uses "Shout" and "Tailwind" to boost the stats of the guys. Now, Agrias must come to help them, while the guys are boosting their stats, Agrias can use "Hallowed Bolt" to kill those Ninjas.
Your Dragoon/Thief and Mustadio must go to steal Marach's equipment. Guess why Mustadio is coming? "Leg Shot" and "Arm Shot". Disable Marach and then steal his equipment, that Gokuu Pole is a good weapon and a weird reference to my favorite childhood show, Dragon Ball Z. The "Jump2 of your Dragoon/Thief will be enough to finish Marach off.
Your Generics can go take care of the Summoners. Heavy crap like Samurais, Ninjas, Geomancers or Black Mages since those Mages are light units and physical attacks are very effective. This is also a good chance to try new classes that you haven't try yet. This is a challenging fight but isn't very hard, you should be fine here.
Now we are in a subway where Ramza starts talking to Rapha. She tell us about Barrington's evilness and about her backstory linked with him and why she betrayed him. She also takes this time to praise the bravery of our hero, but Ramza doesn't want to accept it saying "I'm not the man you think I am".
Then a frog enters the subway. Weird. Well, this is actually Marach making more threats to us. After talking some crap, Marach just explodes. This is even more weird. I think I'll finish this page here for lazyness.
