The last fight[]
Climb up the stairs. Before that, check whether you're ready… Twincast on Cecil and Rosa can be good (for Ultima), but I'm not sure you'll have time for this. Anyway.
You watch a fight of Golbez and Fusoya fighting Zemus (who is VERY ugly, by the way). After some useless spells (Firaga, Blizzaga, Slow, Hold, and so on), the two want to use all their power to reinforce Meteor, with which Zemus seems to agree. They use Twin Meteor, dealing 99 999 damage ! Nice, I want that ! Zemus dies, but… his… spirits… will survive. Cliché. Everyone enjoys the victory, but then Zemus stands back and morphs into something even uglier : Zeromus, He Who Knows Naught but Hate. Fusoya and Golbez fight him, but Meteor is USELESS against him ! ZOMG We will Diiiiiiiiieeee!!!!!! Golbez uses a Crystal, but having used darkness during all his life, it doesn't work. And Zeromus blasts them off. He blasts us too, but WE have friends. Their prayers revive us. Golbez gives us his Crystal.
I said Zemus was my kill. Instead we have Zeromus, even better. Time for us to fight !
WHAT !! Everyone is dead but Cecil with a single HP ! WTF O_o
Hehe. They're immediately revived by everyone's prayers, even Tellah's (lol…).
Now time for the real fight. Use the Crystal with Cecil immediately and Zeromus will reveal its true form. Now, do classical things : Haste, Protect, Shell with Rosa and Cecil, Fuma Shurikens and the Knife thrown by Edge (go with all you've got, this is the last battle), Cry and Jump or attack with Kain, Bahamut or Meteor with Rydia and attack with Cecil. His Black Hole removes every positive statuses, meaning you should only Shell and Haste. Perhaps not even Shell. Zeromus counters Summon by Osmosing everyone and spells by Flare. I think Bahamut is thus better. But that's only my point.
Zeromus can use an attack called Big Bang, and that HURTS. Only Cecil and maybe Rosa will survive that. You know when it's coming becase the guy shakes a little before executing it. He can also do other nasty things, like cast Flare or Osmose on everyone (I already mentioned the latter). Well, actually, it's more of a game of luck and being high leveled enough. There's no miracle in resisting Big Bang, apart from sending Kain in the air if possible. Well, I still haven't made it to speak to you honestly. That's because I don't want to spend my time leveling up like a mad man.
