Character profile
Wakka is a recruitable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper. He is unlocked in Besaid on Classic in the storyline of Final Fantasy X as the First Time Reward.
Profile
He has one of the highest opening Accuracy scores, yet his stats are considered as low to average. He is as good a Ranger unit as a player is likely to get early on. Bows, blitzballs, and thrown weapons are comparatively rare unlike swords and lances, and Wakka could be stuck wielding a dagger on the front line until one of these weapons appears. He can still make an impact provided he has enough defense to survive. Wakka has a surprisingly high Mind stat for a support despite having no White Magic, exceeding even Paladins like Cecil and Warrior of Light, which shortens the duration of status ailments.

Abilities
Wakka can use Combat abilities up to rarity rank 3, Support abilities up to rarity rank 5, Celerity abilities up to rarity rank 3, and Sharpshooter abilities up to rarity rank 5.
His default Soul Break is Element Reels which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment deals water elemental damage to all targets equal to 125% damage potency of a conventional attack.
The blitzball Official Ball (X) allows Wakka to use Status Reels which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment damages the enemy dealing 300% damage potency of a conventional attack and decreases its Defense and Resistance by 50% for the duration of 10 seconds.
The blitzball All-Rounder (X) allows Wakka to use Attack Reels which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment damages random enemies dealing 490% damage potency of a conventional attack across 5 hits and decreases their Magic by 50% for the duration of 25 seconds.
The blitzball Over the Top (X) allows Wakka to use Aurochs Reels which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment damages all enemies dealing 600% damage potency of a conventional attack across 4 hits and inflicts Blind and Poison if the enemies are not immune.
The bracer Glorious Armguard (X) allows Wakka to use Assault Reels which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment damages the enemy dealing 756% damage potency of a conventional attack across 12 hits and decreases its Attack, Magic, Defense and Resistance by 40% for the duration of 25 seconds and grants Haste and Burst Mode to the user. Under Burst Mode, Wakka can use Wither Tackle and Pile Wither, which are clones of the support abilities Power and Magic Breakdown respectively.
After Wakka's level cap is increased he automatically gains the Record Materia, Preemptive Strike, which when equipped allows for the player to begin battle with a full ATB gauge. His second Record Materia, Blitz-Eye, can be gained at any given time after battle provided that Wakka is present in the battle party. When equipped with Blitz-Eye, the user never misses when using Attack.
Equipment
Wakka can equip the following weapon types: daggers, bows, thrown, and balls. The balls Official Ball (X), All-Rounder (X) and Over the Top (X) allows Wakka to use Status Reels, Attack Reels and Aurochs Reels respectively.
He can equip the following armor types: helms, light armor, heavy armor, and bracers. The bracer Glorious Armguard allows Wakka to use Assault Reels.
He can equip accessories.
