Casts two Summon spells at once
W-Summon is a Command Materia in Final Fantasy VII equipped to cast two Summons in one turn. When equipped, it replaces the Summon command, with W-Sum., and allows the user to cast two Summon spells from their equipped Summon Materia.
Obtained[edit | edit source]
W-Summon can be won from the Battle Square after the player obtains the Highwind when Gold Saucer reopens. It costs 64000 BP, making it the most expensive Battle Square prize. Only one can be obtained this way, meaning the player must master the Materia to obtain a second. As this requires a huge 250,000 AP, equipping the Materia on weapons or armor with Double and Triple AP is ideal.

Use[edit | edit source]
W-Summon allows the user to cast two Summons in one turn (consuming MP both times). Though it comes with no stat changes or any other penalties, the Summon Materia equipped come with major changes, meaning that the player should give it to spellcasters with a strong Magic stat that benefit from the stats. If the cast Summon Materia is linked with Quadra Magic, using it with W-Summon can result in summoning it eight consecutive times, with the exception of Knights of Round.
W-Summon, and many Summon Materia, are good choices to give to Barret for his ultimate weapon, Missing Score does more damage based on the AP of its equipped Materia, which W-Summon can hold an enormous amount of.
