Vorporlor is a character in Final Fantasy XIV. He the leader of the Chirwagur Saltern, a hostile group of Yok Huy.
History[]
As Wuk Lamat and her companions prepared to climb Worqor Zormor, they were approached by Vorporlor and his companions, who proclaimed themself as the rightful overlords of Tural and made clear their intention to reignite the conquest campaign with the death of the Third Promise. Before he could carry out his threat, however, a monstrous bird swooped down to attack one of his men. Wuk Lamat sprang into action, defending the giant from certain death, leaving Vorporlor bewildered at having been saved. Vorporlor felt indebted and allowed Wuk Lamat to climb Worqor Zormor, while Alphinaud stayed behind to tend to the wounded Giants.[1]
As soon as Vorporlor separated from Alphinaud, Valigarmanda escaped from its prison. When Wuk Lamat's party headed to Worqor Lar Dor to confront Skyruin, Vorporlor stopped them, forbidding them from trespassing on his sacred ground. Vorporlor claimed that Wuk Lamat's group was incapable of facing Skyruin and that they would only destroy the sacred mountain. The stalemate intensified further when Koana and Zoraal Ja's parties arrived to offer their help. As Zoraal Ja prepared to force their way through, Wuk Lamat intervened, and one of Vorporlor's companions reminded their leader that they were indebted to Wuk Lamat for saving them earlier, thus persuading Vorporlor to let them pass.[2]
