A black mage tender in years, who is reticent and somewhat naïve. While at first glance appears frail and unreliable in battle, he is in fact a powerful wielder of magic. He always strives to do right and through the numerous life-or-death encounters he faced with Zidane has grown confident in himself. Vivi enjoys theater.
Description
Vivi is a playable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia who is available at the start of Chapter 1 of the main storyline.

Vivi has a completely black face and large yellow eyes. He wears a large tan pointy hat, a blue jacket, green and white striped trousers, red and white gloves, and brown boots.
His alternate outfit is his design based on Yoshitaka Amano artwork.
Personality[]
Vivi is often found with the other children of the party. He strikes up a friendship with Palom in particular as they are both black mages.

Act 1[]
Although several other party members seem sympathetic to Kuja's goal of "defying his fate," Vivi and Zidane both maintain that nothing justified the suffering Kuja caused on Gaia
Lost Chapter: Balamb Whiplash[]
Seeing the newly-recruited Quistis looking out over the sea in thought, Vivi decides with Eiko to introduce themselves to her, and to ask if she would be willing to become their combat instructor. She accepts, mentioning that they remind her of the young underclassmen back at Balamb Garden. Sabin, Prishe, and Bartz, who were eavesdropping nearby, express a keen interest in studying under her as well, although Quistis warns them that the class will be oriented more towards Vivi's and Eiko's elementary level. When Quistis runs her first class, it turns out that the older students are the ones who are conceptually struggling the most. Eiko scolds them for holding up the whole class, and then turns around to notice that Vivi has fallen asleep. Sabin and Bartz take Vivi as a cue to leave class early and take a nap, effectively ending the class and leaving Quistis deeply disappointed in herself.
Act 2[]
Vivi plays an important role in Act 2, Chapter 3. He is abducted by Kuja and replaced with a dark manikin whom Kuja had promised a heart. Throughout the duration of his abduction, Vivi attempts to talk Kuja out of his plans while Kuja attempts to break his spirit by showing him how easily the manikin was accepted as the real Vivi (unaware that Zidane had already seen through its ploy). Although Kuja frequently tortures him with magic, Vivi is sympathetic to his despair. When the party rescues him at last, he holds no ill-will towards the manikin Vivi and instead calls him a little brother.
