Virtuos Ltd. is a Chinese game development company and a provider of digital entertainment production services for the game and movie industries. The company was founded in 2004. Virtuos has development centers in Shanghai, Chengdu, and Xi'an, China, and in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and offices in Paris, Vancouver and Tokyo. The company is best known for working with 2K Games to port several 2K Sports games such as MLB 2K and NBA 2K to the PlayStation Portable and smartphones.

In 2012, Virtuos was hired by Square Enix to remaster its classic PlayStation 2 title, Final Fantasy X, along with its sequels; Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm, Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission. A newly additional Final Fantasy X -Will- also is included in the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster compilation for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, released in December 2013 in Japan and early 2014 worldwide. This was followed by a port for the PlayStation 4 in mid-2015 and a port for PC in May 2016.

Virtuos was then involved in the remastering of a second PlayStation 2 classic, Final Fantasy XII, remastered as Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age. This remaster came out on the PS4 in 2017 and then followed by PC release on early 2018.

For 2019, Square Enix worked with Virtuos again to bring the existing remasters to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One, with the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age coming out in April.
