Vidohunir (ヴィゾフニル, Vizohuniru?), also called Vidofnir is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. Originating as a weapon skill in Final Fantasy XI, it has since become associated with Shantotto in her spin-off appearances.

Vidofnir is a staff weapon skill. It is a single-hit attack that lowers Magic Defense. It provides a TP enhancement to M-DEF Down duration. It can skillchain into Distortion and Fragmentation. The quest "Unlocking a Myth" must be completed, which requires the Mage's Staff Mythic Weapon to unlock.

Vidohunir is the Premium Skill for Shantotto (No.362). It deals medium Dark magic damage to one enemy with power increasing with the Memento Gauge. In addition, it increases the power of the party's Black Magic by 40%, grants Damage Limit Break +2000, and restores the Memento Gauge when attacking an enemy's weakness with Black Magic. It is usable during Force/Wisdom/Prayer/Defense Memento.

According to Fjölsvinnsmál, Víðópnir or Víðófnir is a rooster that sits at the top of Mímameiðr, a tree often taken to be identical with the World Tree Yggdrasil. The name does not otherwise occur in the medieval sources.
