Vega

The product of the analysis of and experimentation on otherworldly relics conducted by a research facility. Having been damaged and subsequently repaired, it includes many original pieces from the ruins which boost its accuracy and power. However, since currently the technology required to develop a weapon of this class doesn't currently exist, its production is seen as a fluke. It is a simple, no-frills piece.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius description

Vega (ヴェガ, Vega?), also known as Vega 42, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally a low-ranked gun that provides no additional effects.

Final Fantasy XII[]

Vega is a low-ranked gun. In the original PlayStation 2 version, it provides 14 Attack and 5% Critical. It requires the Guns 2 license to equip, and can be bought for 2,400 gil at Rabanastre and found at Nam-Yensa Sandsea through the Zertinan Caverns.

In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 13 Attack, 10 Evade, 50 CT, 5% critical rate, and requires the Guns 2 license for 50 LP. It can be bought in Rabanastre, Bhujerba, and Dreadnought Leviathan 1,400 gil, found as a treasure in the Dreadnought Leviathan (Sub-control Room), dropped by Axebeak (3% chance), and made in from the bazaar for 800 gil after selling Yensa Scale x1, Green Liquid x3, and Water Stone x4. It can be equipped by the Machinist.

Final Fantasy XIII[]

These weapons are worn by civilian pilots for the purpose of self-defense in case of emergency landings in the wilderness.

Description

Vega 42s are dual pistols for Sazh and are his starting weapons, upgradable to the Altairs. Vega 42s offer slightly more Magic than Strength and are in the Magic Defense synthesis group. They can also be bought in Up in Arms for 2,000 gil.

Final Fantasy XIV[]

The Vega is a Star Globe for Astrologians. It can be obtained from aurum vale, either as a treasure, a drop from the boss Miser's Mistress, or a reward for completion of the duty.

Also available are the Vega Knuckles, Knuckles whos appearance is based on Sazh's Vega 42s from Final Fantasy XIII. They could be acquired through the Lightning Strikes event or otherwise purchased on the Mog Station.

Vega is a level 1 gun that provides -231 HP, +51 Bravery, +22 Attack, and -2 Defense. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 14,740 gil.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]

Vega (XII) is an EX Gun for Balthier that enables access to the EX ability, Fires of War, as well as the abilities Mighty Fires of War, Fires of War Recast Up, and Route to Riches HP+. It provides 115 HP, 55 DEF, 249-324 iBRV, 2791-3241 mBRV, 920-1070 ATK, and adds 70-80 CP.

Vega (XIII) is a 4★ Gun for Sazh that enables access to the ability HP +340. It provides 38 HP, 17 DEF, 62-107 iBRV, 780-1455 mBRV, 261-486 ATK, and adds 10-20 CP.
