Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Vedrfolnir during a FATE.

Vedrfolnir is fought as a Notorious Monster in Vedrfolnir Devoteth FATE in The Churning Mists.

To spawn the World Fate, the player must first complete the End of the Rainbow, Mogicide, and Rastaban Vibration FATEs. With the exception of Mogicide, in the other two FATEs Vedrfolnir will appear to face one of Darkscale's servants, both Vedrfolnir and his opponent cannot be targeted by the player but they can use AoE that hits the minions or the player depending on who cast it.

Once completed without fail, Darkscale's Chain FATEs appear in Ohl Tahn. Vedrfolnir will face Darkscale and his servants directly but this time both can be targeted by the player. Vedrfolnir's HP drops fast during battle so it is recommended to have a White Mage on party to cast Benediction on him.

Upon completion of Chain FATE, Vedrfolnir Devoteth FATE will immediately spawn at Greensward. When you complete the FATE reward with A Worthy Adversary achievement and if the player gets gold he will receive Ishgardian Half Barding.
