The Vector Hound (or Vector Pup in the SNES version) is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. It is found in the secret passages under South Figaro during Locke's escape from the town. They only use normal attacks unless attacked, when they counter with their special attack, Bite, is a slightly stronger attack.

Etymology[]
Vector is the capital of the Gestahlian Empire. In molecular cloning, a vector is a DNA molecule used as a vehicle to artificially carry foreign genetic material into another cell, where it can be replicated and/or expressed. A vector containing foreign DNA is termed recombinant DNA.
