Vampire (吸血, Kyūketsu?) is a status found exclusively in Final Fantasy Tactics, usually inflicted by the ability Vampire or Blood Suck. A unit under the status can only use the attack Vampire and will automatically use it to any enemy. All evade percentages will drop to 0, and the character will be unable to use Reaction Abilities and certain Movement Abilities like Lifefont and Accrue EXP. All monsters are inherently immune to Vampire. If there is no enemy but ally within the Vampire units' moving range, they will go for the ally instead. If all members of Ramza's party are afflicted by Vampire, it is an automatic Game Over.
Vampire can be removed using Holy Water and the Dispelna of Holy Magick. Some accessories grant immunity against Vampire, these being the Barette, Ribbon, Japa Mala, and Onion Gloves.

Etymology
Vampires are mythological or folkloric beings who subsist by feeding on the life essence, generally in the form of blood, of living creatures. Although vampiric entities have been recorded in many cultures, and may go back to "prehistoric times", the term vampire was not popularized until the early 18th century.
