Valigarmanda is an Eidolon that appears in Final Fantasy Dimensions II. There are two versions of Valigarmanda available in the game; Parai's version, which is a wind-elemental signet, and Maina's version, which is a neutral-elemental signet. Both versions are equipped by default to their respective owners and teach Thunder Blow abilities.

Both versions of Valigarmanda provide increased attack and speed at the time they are obtained. However, Valigarmanda is easily outclassed as the player progresses through the game and obtains stronger signets.

Profile[]

Similar to its other appearances in the series, both versions of Valigarmanda appear as a birdlike creature with a helmet upon its head. Parai's version is heavily based on the design of the Valigarmanda Esper from Final Fantasy VI, with the lightning changing color on the signet's artwork serving as a reference to Valigarmanda's Tri-Disaster attack from the game.

Development[]

Valigarmanda signet in Toki no Suishō.

In the original free-to-play versions, the version of Valigarmanda that would become availible to Parai was a god-tier wind signet that could only be obtained through the game's summon draw shop. It allowed the wielder to use Magic Boost abilities and required god stones to evolve.

The version of Valigarmanda that would become exclusive to Maina was a rare signet that could only be obtained through participating in the "The Dragon That Passes Through Time" raid event. It allowed the wielder to use Tri-Magic abilities and could only evolve with special items obtained during the raid.

Both versions could be equipped by any party member.

In the premium versions, both Valigarmanda signets are drastically weakened and teach Thunder Blow abilities instead.
