Valiant (バリアント, Barianto?) is a recurring weapon in the series. It is often a low-ranked gun, usually being the weakest gun available when it appears.

Final Fantasy VIIIEdit
Valiant is the starting and weakest weapon for Irvine, providing 12 Attack and 105 Hit Rate. It can be modeled by using 100 gil, a Steel Pipe, and Screw x4.
Final Fantasy XVEdit
Firearms can be equipped by Noctis and Prompto. Unlike in other games, it is not the weakest gun. Cid Sophiar can upgrade it with an Earth Gemstone, a common item found in Cleigne.
