Vajradhara Rakshasa is an enemy in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-.

The beast has an unavoidable Quake-like attack called "Magnitude 8" able to inflict ~1,000 points of damage. Casting Regen and Wall at the start of the battle helps, followed by a barrage of Graviga. When its HP is low enough, the player can switch over to Hell Thundaga until it is defeated.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Vajradhara is the ultimate primordial Buddha, or Adi Buddha, according to the Gelug and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Achieving the 'state of Vajradhara' is synonymous with complete realisation.

Rakshasa are gigantic demons from Hindu and Buddhist mythology. They are powerful beings aligned with evil, who live on human flesh and spoiled food. The creatures make an important appearance in the epic of Ramayana.
