Hi there, thanks for the Gutsco images. Just to let you know, all images that are uploaded here need a category and a license. For categories, you go off what the image shows, if it's artwork, an enemy, a character, a location, etc. Checking the whole category by typing " Category:<insert game name here> Images " in the search bar will show you all the sub-categories available to you. Then you would, in the Summary field before uploading your image, write in the category that best fits your image e.g. [[Category:<insert game name here> Enemy Images]].
Now for licenses. These are really easy. Did you see the dropdown field on the upload screen? This is your licensing. By selecting a license it will show you what this means, and then you just choose what is appropriate for your image.
Hey. I didn't want to overcomplicate the list of enemy abilities page, so I didn't fully explain it there, but I explained it on Malboro Menace's page.
Putrid Breath calculates its damage using the magical formula, including using MM's Magic stat and your Magic Defence. HOWEVER, the damage is considered physical, and is thus reducible by Protect, Defend, Defence+??%, etc and NOT by Shell and similar. (However, it's reduced by Focus rather than Cheer, because these two work a bit differently - their affect is not determined by whether the damage is physical or magical, but rather, by whether the damage is reduced by Defence or Magic Defence.)
I know this sounds really weird, but test it for yourself and you'll see. Actually, from a technical point of view, "physical" and "affected by strength/defence", and likewise "magical" and "affected by magic/magic defence" are not the same thing in FFX, even though they generally go hand in hand.
Out of interest, the same is also true of Dark Cindy's Camisade and Dark Sandy's Razzia; although they ignore magic defence (but technically, the damage is calculated based on the user's Magic, not their Strength; but is still reducible by Protect etc). Dark Mindy's Passado, however, is more normal - physical damage, affected by her Strength, reducible by your Defence... as long as you have Deathproof, of course.
