I don't know why you're adding pictures to BH's FFX walkthrough, but please stop, as it is against the rules to make significant changes to someone else's walkthrough without their permission. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 09:33, January 13, 2013 (UTC)

Want to learn how to categorise images? :)[edit source]
When uploading images you are supposed to categorise them. This is done the easiest by just typing them into the summary box when you are first uploading. When uploading an image is supposed to have both a license and a category/categories. When uploading screenshots you can just type in {{Screenshot|Final Fantasy X}} and it will automatically give the Screenshot license and categorise the image to Category:Final Fantasy X Screenshots category. Aside from being a screenshot the image may also belong to Final Fantasy X Character Images, Final Fantasy X Location Images, Final Fantasy X Summon Images, Final Fantasy X Battle Images... etc etc. You can see all subcategories at Category:Final Fantasy X Images. To add a category you can type [[Category:Final Fantasy X Character Images]] to the summary box when you upload.
To edit categories of images after they have been uploaded, you just go to the fileview and click edit. You can see the Categories on the right hand side of the editor in the default wiki skin (just make sure you haven't collapsed it from the little arrow). You can add or remove any categories here.
Every article and file and template also has the categories at the bottom of the page and it has an add button, but you can only add more categories here, not edit the old ones.
Don't worry about the images you have already uploaded, but in the future if you could categorise them it would be grand.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:53, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
- OK, Thanks for your suggestion. Monterossa (talk) 09:14, January 24, 2013 (UTC)
FFXIII-2 Weapon Images Request[edit source]
Would you be so kind of getting weapon images for Final Fantasy XIII-2? It would be a good idea to upload them over the existing PNG files also adding the others I didn't upload, also limiting the captured screenshot to the in-game menu render of a character wielding a weapon. For Noel I'd like you to capture both his sides for the both blades' colour visualisation. Unless, of course, you could extract the in-game data and get models for the weapons themselves, but that would require Xbox 360 version to my knowledge.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 15:18, February 13, 2013 (UTC)
- Done. but not sure if I've missed some of them. Monterossa (talk) 21:33, February 13, 2013 (UTC)
- We seem to missing a few Bowswords. Namely Nagaraja, Fellowship Arc and Odinbolt. ETA: We also need In Paradisum, for Noel, I just noticed. HarpieSiren (talk) 21:41,

- Would it be possible if you could upload the ones Kaimi already has? Yours are much better in quality and size. (Sorry Kaimi but your images are a bit blurred) 92.12.221.200 12:46, February 14, 2013 (UTC)
- I'll do it later. Monterossa (talk) 15:48, February 14, 2013 (UTC)

- No, it's alright, Mr(s). Anon! I took them from a YouTube video as it was pretty stupid that that game was released over a year know, and we don't have the weapon images yet, even though they might be in-game renders.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 13:12, February 14, 2013 (UTC)
I must request that if you upload screenshots that serve no purpose but to be stuffed into a gallery and thus not important enough to serve an illustrative purpose in the main article, you probably ought not to upload it. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 21:54, February 14, 2013 (UTC)
Licensing[edit source]
Hey, Kaimi's having a bit of a whine while he's going through some FFX screenshots you uploaded, so in his place I thought I should let you know; when you're licensing a screenshot, you need to follow it up with a pipe, like so- {{Screenshot|}} and the name of the game after it. So you'd be putting {{Screenshot|Final Fantasy X}} and it automatically gets put into the appropriate category. Hope that makes sense, get back to me if you need any help, yeah? EDIT- I've just realised Kelt has already told you this. In that case, you might wanna make sure to just remember these things next time. ^_^ Tia-Lewise 19:59, March 24, 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll do it. Monterossa (talk) 20:06, March 24, 2013 (UTC)
- I'd like to remind you about Tia's advice. We already have overcrowded Category:Music Media category, and now you're also overcrowding the Category:Screenshots, and for me alone it's hard work to recategorise the images and the music media files. If you're unsure how to do it, please review the history of recent file changes I made and you'll (hopefully) will understand it better.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 11:54, May 30, 2013 (UTC)
Final Fantasy IX[edit source]
I noticed on your userpage that you have a userbox for FFIX hatred: could you tell me what makes you dislike the game? Personally, I think this is the best FF and have some very complex characters, e.g. Garnet (<333), great maps, e.g. Bran Bal, and lots of player interaction with the game, e.g. sword fight between Zidane and Marcus, and most important of all...It hos tons of moogles, kupo!—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 21:19, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
- It's one of my least favorite FF because I don't like the setting of the game. It looks like Disney world with animal humanoids everywhere. I don't like Kingdom Hearts series for the same reason as well. I like Garnet and some theme songs but still don't like this game much. Monterossa (talk) 21:38, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
- "It looks like Disney world with animal humanoids everywhere."–I am not sure what animal humanoids are to do with Disney; FFIX's people are original creations while Disney's animals and such are basically animals with mostly differing designs from the 'base' look. Well, my dislike for FFXIII-2 is something similar to your dislike for FFIX: I hate the story of FFXIII-2 even though I love the characters, even the new ones.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 21:56, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
FFV iOS[edit source]
Am I right to assume that you have access to the game? o.o??
Yes. | |||
Ooooh. How much do you think you can get out of the game in terms of images then?
Not sure but I'll do it til I finished the game.
Well, if anything can always set up a list for what's needed from the iOS version later on I suppose~
FFV iOS Images[edit source]
I'd like to ask you to not overwrite pre-iOS screenshots of FFV with the iOS ones: we just don't do that. If you'll look at our screenshots for older games, we don't overwrite the old screenshots with the ones from the newer version and upload them with an appropiate tag. Just in case you don't know, use the iOS screenshots through the articles, and dump the pre-iOS ones to the Gallery section of each article. A bit off-topic question, but is the OST in the iOS port remaster, or did they carry over the old music files?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 15:35, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry about what I've done. I will not overwrite them anymore. The iOS version uses old tracks from SNES (or PSX) version, which I like it more than GBA tracks. Monterossa (talk) 15:47, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
- That's fine, just wanted to point out how we handle remakes' images. Also, how much does SNES and GBA versions of tracks differ?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 15:51, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
- I'm not sure but I think the GBA tracks are lower quality and they're not as good as the originals. but this is just my opinion. Monterossa (talk) 16:08, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

FFV iOS[edit source]
Hi, I was looking at the FFV iOS screenshots you uploaded, do you have them for iPAD or something really large? And do you have FFIV for iOS as well? :3 s̅̅s̅̅o̅̅r̅̅c̅̅̅̅e̅̅n̅̅i̅̅v̅̅i̅̅d̅̅ 09:14, June 4, 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I have the iOS version and playing it on iPad so the screenshots are very large (2048x1536) I have to resize them to 1280x765 before I upload them. maybe I forgot to resize some of them but I can't remember. Monterossa (talk) 14:54, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

Uncompressed FFV iOS Screenshot.
- I don't think it uses anti-aliasing. The graphics are pixelated on large screen except for the texts. Monterossa (talk) 18:08, June 4, 2013 (UTC)
- Holy crap! ...That unresized one is HUGE... Well I was asking because this wiki needs bigger FFIV iOS character renders...s̅̅s̅̅o̅̅r̅̅c̅̅̅̅e̅̅n̅̅i̅̅v̅̅i̅̅d̅̅ 08:59, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
- You want to crop those character sprites? I can take screenshots with every job for you. Monterossa (talk) 11:22, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
- No...I meant FFIV. s̅̅s̅̅o̅̅r̅̅c̅̅̅̅e̅̅n̅̅i̅̅v̅̅i̅̅d̅̅ 19:05, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
Just coming round to say keep up the good work with all of these images~
| |||
Thanks!
For the ability and status images... I have a lot of works to do in real life at this moment so maybe I'll do it someday. Monterossa (talk) 06:59, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
Understandable. You're the only one that I know that has the game, so will be counting on you if you ever find the time. ^^
Yup yup, just checking in on this, seeing if you're still up to this at all~ Still need to snag em from this game and all that so. ^^;;
- I've tried to capture some ability screenshot but iOS has a little delay time while taking screenshots so it's hard to do so. maybe it's easier to capture them from Youtube videos. 07:46, October 27, 2013 (UTC)
Problem with using YT videos is that the quality is diminished drastically. If anything, can always focus on the status images before ability images I guess.
Just seeing how things are going with this and all that is all~ ^^;
Load Captain[edit source]
I saw the Load Captain pic you uploaded - so you have FFIV for iPAD too? Can you take shots of the character renders? s̅̅s̅̅o̅̅r̅̅c̅̅̅̅e̅̅n̅̅i̅̅v̅̅i̅̅d̅̅ 16:38, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
- I'll play FFIV after I finished V. Monterossa (talk) 17:28, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

Caius Ballad in LR:FFXIII[edit source]
Is there any official information regarding Caius's inclusion in LR:FFXIII? I ask because I saw you adding his namr to the {{tl|LR}} template and wanted to ask before starting an unnecessary edit-warring that could cause.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 17:22, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

Permanently Missable[edit source]
What is your purpose for moving it? Drake Clawfang (talk) 22:40, November 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Isn't it has been discussed on its talk page? the article is not only about missable items but also included missable characters, summons, etc. Monterossa (talk) 22:53, November 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, but the talk page also explains it is still a list. Unless you plan to expand the article, which is fine (or want to continue discussion for expanding it), it should be moved to List of Permanently Missable Content or a similar title. Drake Clawfang (talk) 23:02, November 1, 2013 (UTC)
- ok, I moved it to List of Permanently Missable Contents. Monterossa (talk) 23:05, November 1, 2013 (UTC)
- To nitpick over grammar, that actually is grammatically incorrect, in this context content isn't pluralized. But that side, thank you. I agree with the new title, I just wasn't sure what you had planned, an expansion, retool, etc :) Drake Clawfang (talk) 23:08, November 1, 2013 (UTC)

While licensing audio files you should type the following: ==Licensing== not ==Licensing== because {{Audio|Final Fantasy Y}} automatically adds [[Category:Final Fantasy Y Music Media]]. Font in FXIV:ARR[edit source]
Hey, Monterossa. I'd like to ask if the font present in this "Quest Accepted" image is used in when initiating all Quests in FFXIV:ARR, or only in "Lightning Strikes" FATE? If only in that special FATE, then are there other similar popups using that font?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 10:08, November 19, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, It has "Quest Accepted", "FATE Complete", and "Quest Complete". I captured all the screenshots and will upload them soon. Monterossa (talk) 10:31, November 19, 2013 (UTC)
Corneo[edit source]
I see you've reverted my edit. I am a native Italian speaker, and I can assure you that corneo does not mean, and has never meant even in the past, horny, as in "sexually aroused". It is an ancient form for "cornuto" (as in "horned", "with horns", "something related to horns", "horn-like"), and almost only used in scientific texts, because in everyday language cornuto has a negative meaning (cheated on by the partner). An example is "strato corneo", i.e. stratum corneum, but this has nothing to do with the FF7 character.
- Monterossa is of the same nationality as you, so I wonder why you both disagree with each other... Tia-Lewise
12:39, November 21, 2013 (UTC)
- This matter has already been discussed in the article talk (here first, then a second time by me, here and here), but nobody fixed the page. If you look here, it confirms what I'm saying. You seem to imply I'm lying, so go check for yourself the usage of the word corneo in some other web pages in Italian. Simply writing that Corneo is Italian for horny is at best misleading.
- I never said anything of the sort. I'm curious as to where the disagreement comes from. Tia-Lewise
14:35, November 21, 2013 (UTC)
- I just said "corneo means horny in Italian", didn't say that it's a slang. But if you think it's going to be a misleading then we should clearly explain it in that section. However, do you think that Square chose this word as the character name on purpose? Monterossa (talk) 14:47, November 21, 2013 (UTC)
- Dunno. I think they probably did chose an Italian sounding name on purpose, but why exactly Corneo? Could be because it sounds a bit like Corleone, or maybe they checked for the Italian translation for horny, found corneo among the other things and chose it. If they chose Corneo because they wanted to hint at his sex-starved personality, well, they chose wrong because of what I explained before; unless they wanted to point at his hair, which, with a stretch of imagination can be seen as a horn. This is clearly just speculation on my part.
- I'm not sure if we can put personal opinion or speculation on the article. better ask moderators. Monterossa (talk) 16:04, November 21, 2013 (UTC)
- I know, I was just answering you. The point is, writing only that corneo means horny in Italian is misleading since it does mean horny, but not the kind of horny the reader that knows Don Corneo is more likely to think about, so if it's reinserted I think it's better to add a little explanation, maybe just a clarification about the correct translation without any speculations.

Image Preference[edit source]
Please upload files in PNG format and JPGs tend to be of worse quality and, oftentimes, to see the image clearly one needs to open the file in question 'individually' (in other words: in a new page in full view). Thank you.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 18:08, November 21, 2013 (UTC)

Would you be able to get English names for Psychic and Festival-Goer dresspheres for FFX-2?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 15:06, January 1, 2014 (UTC)

Screenshots[edit source]
Those FFX/X-2 HD screenshots you're uploading, they look amaaaaazing. Like so many of them would make great wallpapers. Superb contribution for the wiki.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:11, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

Actually, you could upload other six characters Provoke ability from FFX HD as from what I recall each of them has his own Provoke pose. And I think spell poses could be SS'ed too, but I'm not sure if community would agree with having a bit more screenshots regarding these two things.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 22:01, February 4, 2014 (UTC)
FF14[edit source]
Could I bug you to do a bit of expansion on a topic regarding the game? The page for the game's Ultima Weapon incarnation implies that the primals of FF14 have Astral Flows, but currently that page only covers FF11. Could you please turn it into a parent and add FF14 info? :) Drake Clawfang (talk) 05:56, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Lightning Saga Retro-spective Trailer Screenshots[edit source]
Thanks for those trailer screenshots, but there's no real need for 1280×720 screenshots since they are just super large pixels. I think that screenshots of 640×360 are good enough.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 15:56, January 29, 2014 (UTC)

Allusions template[edit source]
As much as I understand the purpose of Template:Allusions, why did you chose to make it an ordinary box as opposed to a navbox? I personally feel like navboxes would be better. However, the Translations pages have a similar navigation template, so I suppose I won't say that your template is 'wrong'. I guess the template does have good reason for existing, I just don't know why it shouldn't be a navbox.--Technobliterator 17:11, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
- I think it's kinda pointless to have a navbar just for something that needs only one group of content in it and it will have just a list of game titles. Monterossa (talk) 17:18, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
- Your point is valid there. Unless the navbar was expanded to include things such as the Translations. Then the navigation is expanded, looks neater, and is honestly more practical.--Technobliterator 17:25, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
- You're right but you need to ask the others about merging those bars. Personally I don't see why they should be merged. Monterossa (talk) 17:28, February 20, 2014 (UTC)

Article Creation[edit source]
I'm sure I'm not the only one who think like me (a bad choice of words, sorry, can't think of better), but your "Run (Theme)" article is not really in line with the ACP. That article you created covers tracks that share the same name primarily in English and nothing really else aside of playing in dire situation like escapes and such. They don't share a central melody which is key component when creating an article.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 18:35, February 26, 2014 (UTC)

- Oops. sorry about that :) Monterossa (talk) 07:36, March 25, 2014 (UTC)
On a side note, it's best to do it when uploading them too. If you're uploading a bunch that are of the same category, you can just upload those and put whatever category they'd fall into in the Summary and it'll categorize them that way. If you want to save yourself time that is.
XIV Enemy Abilities[edit source]
I was just wondering if we were ever going to have a list of the XIV enemy abilities. Apparently there's no links to one, and it's not listed in the template. Do you think it would be too big/difficult to keep updated? I mean, would it be worth making it? Someone argued against having enemy ability lists for the MMO games in this thread, but I think that's been the only discussion about our XIV coverage. I haven't played the game, and I think you're the only active editor who plays it here. So I was wondering what you thought about that.
Hopefully that makes sense. I wish I could talk to you in Italian, but I've just started studying it and I barely know anything, lol. Eventually I'd like to visit Italy and try to trace some of my ancestry back. Might take a while to get to that point though :p --Shockstorm 00:22, April 2, 2014 (UTC)
- I think it's too hard to do as we only have 2-3 FF wikians playing the game. this game (and XI) has a very large database so they have many database sites for it and it seems impossible for us to cover everything. we still have many missing enemy articles (at least we should start creating articles for the bosses).
- and I'm also an Italian descendant so my Italian isn't that good anyway. Monterossa (talk) 09:05, April 2, 2014 (UTC)
FFX/X-2 HD[edit source]
Congrats on finishing both games~ I haven't seen much of them myself (don't have the systems to play them), but for the most part they look really really brighter than the originals. Dunno how I feel about that with some scenes as the darker areas fit them more (such as the Macalania Lake scene) but eh... Dunno if you'll be doing so or not, but gonna be getting the ability/status/etc. images from both of those games, seeing as you're the go-to guy right now for them both? Seems you're doing the Victory Poses and Locations right now.
- I've done it for Rikku's Mix (Final Fantasy X), but for now I'll upload location images from X-2 first, ability images later. Monterossa (talk) 06:52, April 10, 2014 (UTC)
Oh right, right...I remember fixing up the tables so that the images would fit in there to make it look neater. Still dunno about the one for Krysta though as that looked like a lightning attack and not an ice attack.
- eh? maybe it's a mistake. I'll re-check it again. Monterossa (talk) 07:02, April 10, 2014 (UTC)

File:FFVI GBA Raid on Narshe.png[edit source]
Where did you find the latest image you uploaded over the old one? I don't believe it's true to the original and may have been edited as the overall appearance is much smoother than the old image despite them being of the same location, event and being of the same game version. Surely it should look a little more pixellated? Tia-Lewise 11:51, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

FA nomination[edit source]
Due to Serah's article having stubs and incomplete tables, the nomination has been removed. That's not to say you can't put it back up, I've removed stuff before in similar situations, all it needs are the problem areas fixing up and then once that's done it can be nominated again. Favor[edit source]
I noted this on Miphares talk page, but perhaps you, Miphares, and Spira can help with adding/deleting the images from Image Hosting Page #2 for FFXI/XIV? I don't know what goes where from there, and there's also some odd FFXI images now in the Unused Images category (rifts and outposts it seems??). If they're not being used, put them up for deletion please. Twould be of great help. ^^;
OK, I'll help. | |||
Mmm...do you think some of those should be on the Limit Break template right now like Pulse of Life and the FFXIV ones? There's not enough appearances for them to get their own articles quite yet so...
But we have a lot of FFXI ability articles for those abilities with only one appearance. Isn't Limit Break supposed to be more important than other abilities? if they don't have an article we should create it.
I don't think they do unless it's a command itself (for instance, Renzokuken, Combine, or Dyne). They're treated like any other regular abilities in that regards. If you want, could bring this up in a discussion on the forums. Might be worth talking about
yeah, if we have an article like this: Boost-AGI, those limit breaks should have their own article too.

Getting a bit tired of this now. Your work is highly valued and we wouldn't have many images without you;however, you have been asked by various staff members at least five times to license and categorise images you upload, yet I nearly always find images from you here. I won't be doing the work for anyone anymore, but rather I will just outright be deleting the images if they don't have licenses or categories within a few days of me leaving a message. I'm considering this my final warning to you before a block is taken into consideration for failing to listen to staff. Tia-Lewise 17:59, January 8, 2015 (UTC)

PCSX2[edit source]
Perhaps you would know this seeing as you dealt with this (I THINK it was you who got the PS2 images for FFX, right?). I can run PS2 games now, and am going to be doing a LP for the PS2 games at some point. However, for some reason the emulator refuses to take a screenshot itself (F8 it's supposed to be, but no matter what I do, it won't work. In fact, NONE of the F buttons will work at all). I do not know what could be causing the problem, and I'd rather not have to change my settings due to this since everything is perfectly set up. I could use Print Screen I guess, but that makes it really hard to capture things in motion if I really want to...
- I'm not sure about how to fix that issue but you can try FRAPS software so you can capture screenshots into a PNG (or other formats) with one button, similar to how F8 key supposed to do. Monterossa (talk) 09:58, January 16, 2015 (UTC)
- and you can backup the "inis" folder in PCSX2 directory before trying to change your emu settings. so if you messed it up you can easily go back to your best settings. Monterossa (talk) 10:01, January 16, 2015 (UTC)
Oh...I always forget about FRAPS because I keep forgetting it can even do that since I normally seen it used for recording (which it isn't the best at IMO heh...). Will keep that in mind then.
Jump Phonecards[edit source]
Hi! I saw the phonecards you recently upload, and I'd like to add they're not made by mangakas, they're fanarts using the mangakas styles. I don't know how to edit the info, so I'm just leaving it here. Sorry about my English, and thanks for the hard work!
- do you have anymore info about these phonecards? I'd like to know if they actually have sold these phonecards in Japan? Monterossa (talk) 14:18, January 19, 2015 (UTC)
- I'll try to find something else, hold on!
Enemy Intel Images[edit source]

Type-0 Images[edit source]

- I would take screenshots, but I'm not really familiar with how to do it.--
Much obliged for those screenshots aye. I got what very little I could from YT, so they're THERE, but easily replacable down the line (though only got a few spells). Funny, since I only aimed to get the Ultima spell but ended up getting a couple more than I thought I would (only missing ONE image from the Ultima gallery from the looks of things...and I can't get that because no video SHOWS it. Ugh...). Hopefully you will be getting to things like abilities, summons, and statuses later on? ^^
- I tried to capture ability images in the past but I found it very boring to do (don't want to accept the task and end up cannot do it). I'll try to get Ultima though, and then focus on capturing event screenshots. I'm sorry about that. huge respect for you, Xeno, you always upload all those images that'll make me sick just by trying to work on them.
- another reason is that Type-0 battle system is a real-time fast pace combat. if I try to capture stuffs during battle too much I'll be dead lol. will try to take some good pictures for summons though. Monterossa (talk) 08:20, April 20, 2015 (UTC)
At the very least the ultimate magic spells would be much appreciated, some of them like Holy and Raise I couldn't even find videos of very well heh. And the ones I DID get aren't that great (just look at the one for Bio and Tornado. Both aren't super great mostly because of the battlefield). Yeah, it's not the most exciting thing in the world, and if it weren't for me being OCD about having everything for stuff, I wouldn't have even bothered with it. I've done a LOT of things on this wiki I'd rather not do at all, but it's my go-to place when I've nothing better to do so...^^;;
| |||
- I'll have to reach the endgame first and unlock those spells. people will be sad if you leave the wiki for real. :( Monterossa (talk) 08:29, April 20, 2015 (UTC)
That's perfectly fine. There's no rush for anything anyways heh, despite how I try to get everything asap all the time.

FFXIV Triple Players[edit source]
On the page, you listed "owned cards", but you only listed a few cards for the players, and not the full deck. What do you think should go there? The full deck for each player (as found on http://ffxivtriad.com/npcs ) or only a few...notable ones? I'm not sure what your criteria for players' owned cards is.-- Technobliterator TC 21:47, May 25, 2015 (UTC)

Howdy! I thought I'd see if you'd be interested in grabbing some images that we're missing for this game like with FFV (enemy ability images, ability images, summon images, item images, etc.). I see that you're getting various event images for FFVI but thought I'd see about the other stuff too (and if you'll be able to do that with FFV at any time too). ^^
- Maybe. Gotta unlock those magics first. No promise though. Monterossa (talk) 06:56, December 26, 2015 (UTC)
Hi. Sure, I LOVE FF5, and FF6 even more so! I just don't edit my Talk Page enough.

Hi! I'm KirbiMiroir! (talk) 14:05, January 9, 2016 (UTC)
Oh my, managed to finish the game huh? So will you still be able to get the missing images for the PC version too (I noticed you didn't really get any of the enemy abilities, and probably no good way of doing so now with some of them eh?)?? Same with FFV, if you so happen to still have that save file around??
Do you have the PC version? I can give you my savedata that has all the abilities learned so you can capture everything. Monterossa (talk) 09:17, March 5, 2016 (UTC)
Oops, hit the Rollback button on accident >_> Sadly I do not have the PC version for either game. Otherwise, I'd probably have done a LP of them or something heh. ^^;

I -HAVE- Steam, but I don't have money to buy anything (no job for 8 years will do that to a person, yo. >_>;; ).
what? how can you live without a job? Monterossa (talk) 10:01, March 5, 2016 (UTC)
Been living at home, bless folks hearts. Been trying off and on, but no such luck with getting one. Half of it is due to me not trying nearly as hard as I could, and the other half is just me not getting a break. >_>
DFF2015/Arcade[edit source]
Think you can help with the translations and abilities and whatnot for Dissidia Arcade? I left a link to a playlist for movesets on the mainpage talk page. Could also snag screenshots from the YT vids as temporary placeholders for now I suppose.
Where's the link? Monterossa (talk) 01:49, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
There you go, somehow I forgot to put it there. I already got screenshots and all of Y'shtola's stuff done. Also got some of Ramza's but I don't know half of Ramza's moves in there. Seems like they're original. But I'll leave it to you and the others to fill out the translation pages with the kanji/names and whatnot, and get any screenshots that I may not have gotten (which...well, are those that I couldn't figure out at all heh. I'll probably upload what I have here tonight after I get done with the others).
| |||
- I'll help with the translation page then, and leave the screen capturing to you :D Monterossa (talk) 02:23, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
Righto then. If you can, for Ramza in particular, could you help figure out what some of those abilities translate to? That way I can get the screenshots for them for his page and whatnot.
- Didn't you translate them already on Ramza's page? Monterossa (talk) 02:28, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
No, I didn't. I actually forgot that Ramza HAD a Dissidia page on here actually lol.
- The attacks section on translation page will be a big mess if we put everyone's moves on the same table. can we split each character's moves into their own table? Monterossa (talk) 02:32, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
See the DFF and D012 translations pages. It's a mess there too. Honestly, I agree with splitting them up into their own sections. Maybe at some point it should be done with the other Dissidia pages too, but for now let's just focus on splitting it up per character/section for this game, yeah.
FFVI battle articles' gallery section[edit source]
Would you be extremely offended if I reverted this and other similar edits? The screenshots I uploaded pretty much covers everything, and my extreme OCD makes me suffer whenever I feel the layout of the article suffers... --CrappyScrap (talk) 16:43, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
- Images of the latest release take precedence usually.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 20:42, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
- I wouldn't mind if someone replaced them with Android screenshots altogether. But I spent a lot of time on the layout of those articles, especially the galleries, which I made comic-strips that basically cover everything, in a chronological order. I'm not trying to be a dick and/or a nitpicker, and I mean absolutely no offense, but I honestly think the galleries made more sense the way they were. --CrappyScrap (talk) 21:52, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
- Shouldn't we add images from the latest version of the game to the wiki? not replacing it but it should have images from both versions. But if people don't want them I'll stop adding them to the other conflict articles. Monterossa (talk) 01:38, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah all versions if we have the images. Then we can see the version differences first hand.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 01:59, February 9, 2016 (UTC)

All versions are covered here on the wiki. After checking those conflict articles, I can't believe someone went and deleted the SNES images that I uploaded. Fenrir9 (talk) 02:12, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
- It's not about version, it's about the way things were originally arranged. I don't see the point of having more than one screenshot of precisely the same dialogue, and I don't necessarily think newer version screenshots should precede old ones either. If we're going to talk about precedence, I think continuity and the layout precedes the need to squeeze in duplicates to show each version.
- I apologize to Monterossa, who probably didn't need all this paragraph riding on his talk page. If I knew this would become a community issue, I would have addressed it elsewhere.--CrappyScrap (talk) 06:45, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
Voice actors?[edit source]
Say, I was browsing around, and I was surprised but pleased to discover a number of pages for voice actors, many of which were created by you. I know that we never used to have pages for voice actors? I guess the rules changed? I couldn't seem to find any discussion about it, though. Any particular rules I should be aware of regarding pages for voice actors? ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:28, February 19, 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, the rules changed. But only voice actors who voiced more than one FF game can have an article. Monterossa (talk) 02:26, February 19, 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, good to know. Thanks! ProfessorTofty (talk) 07:26, February 20, 2016 (UTC)
FFXIII/XIII-2 images[edit source]
Since you're uploading XIII/XIII-2 images, can you do me a favor and go through UnusedImages and tag any XIII/XIII-2 images that aren't needed anymore (or if they are being used, do let me know since sometimes that category is just...dumb at times). That'll help with keeping things like that cleaned up, and if you replace an image, please put the Delete template on top of that image for deletion, if need be. ^^
- Can you link me to that unused images category?. Monterossa (talk) 06:05, April 15, 2016 (UTC)
Not XIII related, but Dissidia related. Would you happen to know what each of these staves correspond to from XI? I'm assuming they're actual weapons in there, but I know not what they could be. File:Dissidia-Elemental Staves.png.
- Can't help you there, I'm not a XI player. Monterossa (talk) 04:14, April 17, 2016 (UTC)
Oh...huh. Could've sworn you were. Must've misremembered that then. My bad! ^^;
RE:FFX/FFX-2[edit source]
No worries, I'll get around to them whenever I get to them. If anything, I'll just have Techno or Cat use the bot to mass delete if it gets to be too many.
I have a request for you. Think you can get an image of the different menus for Menu (Final Fantasy X-2)? Apparently it needs some there (primarily for the Abilities and Accessories, and maybe the others could be updated too. I don't know if FFX needs it at all. I'm just looking through Category:Images needing better quality and Category:Images needing re-uploading to see what I myself can get. Any help is much appreciated. Same if you can grab any enemy ability or ability images from any of the games you've got too (such as XIII, XIII-2, LR, etc.).
- Done, for the X-2 abilities menu. I don't think the accessories menu has any sub-menu. For enemy abilities, I'll upload some of them if I can. Monterossa (talk) 03:28, May 27, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, already checked that when I got the screenshots that I was going to upload (but don't have to because you got to it~). Accessories definitely does not. Thanks for taking care of that. I know that the International only stuff in X-2 I cannot get so that's something I'll have to leave to you if you can snag them. ^^; EDIT - Oh wow, there's a big difference between the original and HD with the menus. I guess I should still upload mine as well. o_O
- What's the difference? You mean the PS2 Inter version? I think the images from that version should be uploaded anyway. They're different and very hard to find on the internet. Monterossa (talk) 03:37, May 27, 2016 (UTC)
I mean the menu images between original X-2 and HD X-2. I don't have International version (well, I HAVE it, but good luck me figuring anything out, and I REALLY don't want to go through X-2 again ahahaha...). I was more referring to not being able to get the International stuff due to that, but it's in the HD version so it's easier to snag from there
- Yeah... even as a FFX series fan, going through X-2 again is brutal. But I'll do it for the wiki! Monterossa (talk) 03:44, May 27, 2016 (UTC)
I went through it a few times just for my LP. Never again...oh dear god never again. T-T But good luck with that! I forgot that to get some of the special bosses to show up have to do another NG+ to capture them (because I doubt they'd be willing to use their abilities normally in their fights). >_<
- It's not that I don't like the game but having to check on every detail to make sure I didn't miss any tiny bid of 100% completion is annoying. Monterossa (talk) 03:50, May 27, 2016 (UTC)
The game itself isn't bad (battle system at least, but all those minigames...), but the story leaves a bit to desire I feel. But yeah, getting the 100% completion is exceptionally annoying. I've no idea how I managed to 100% it on my first try for the LP. Glad I did though! Anywho, late response aside, was seeing if you could help with Special:Unusedimages by adding anything to pages, like concept art or the like. Leon95 helped earlier today with adding things to pages (or fixing things on pages, since the whole gallery tag change messed with some things. The FFAB enemy list was a complete disaster). That'd help a lot, especially since I'm about to head out for the night myself. ^^;
- Ouch... looks like a big pain to put them back where they were. Monterossa (talk) 08:53, June 10, 2016 (UTC)
Indeed. Although I think most of those concept arts are new and weren't on pages to begin with???
- For these new images, can you tell the uploaders to do it? or ask them if they have any plan to use these images. Monterossa (talk) 09:54, June 10, 2016 (UTC)
FFX HD PC Omega Ruins Chests[edit source]
Hi, in the article about Omega Ruins, is written "The exception is the PC HD remake version, where players can reroll to get the 99 Warp Spheres by using the save in the ruins". Can you confirm this strategy? --Siegfriedmk (talk) 16:06, June 10, 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not sure who add that claim to the article but I think it probably is an exploit related to the auto-save feature. I'm still early in the game so I can't confirm that. Monterossa (talk) 16:28, June 10, 2016 (UTC)
